Cant believe they call this a motel

I stayed here on a recommendation from a resident of Belle Glade. I was down from tampa on a service call in Belle Glade. First off the office was closed at 9pm on a Monday night. I had to stand outside, which would normally be no big deal, but the night I stayed it was around 40 degrees and the wind was howling. I could hardly fill out the info card because I was shivering so much.
I got everything taken care of, and drove past the hookers in the truck stop next door on the way to my room. If you stay here, be sure to bring your 4x4, since the parking lot is only a few small hunks of asphalt.
I got to my room smelled a little musty, but was no big deal. I threw the comforter on the floor, and all there I saw was 3 pillows, a fitted sheet and another sheet. again no big deal, yet.
I went to bed that night and woke up from all the trucks running through the lot. It was a little chilly in the room, so I went to turn on the heat. There was no heat. I managed to wrap my sheet around the comforter and slept ok, until another guest started yelling her lungs out at her signifigant other.
In the morning, i went to take a shower to get rid of my chill. there was around a 2 year buildup of soapscum on the shower. I put my shoes on so I could take a shower anyways, but the water wouldnt even warm up to lukewarm. I figured I would just wash my face. I couldnt because there was no handle on the faucet.
When I stay somewhere, I dont expect luxury, but a clean and functional room is a must. Needless to say, I will NOT be back.
