Days Inn Tarpon Springs, Tarpon Springs

It was close to the attractions like the description but the hotel itself was not very pretty! Don't expect more than what you pay for. Hotel is NOT on the water as in the pictures, that was the biggest disappointment. On a better note the staff was helpful.

We were given a pet room located in the back of the motel. The floor was uneven, the walls were dirty, water damage on the wall behind the door. The door would not shut completely. Had to call maintenance a few times to replace burned out lights and fix the toilet so it would flush. Never could get the Internet to work on dial-up in the room so I went down to the lobby and spent several hours on the free wireless that doesn't reach to the back. The cable doesn't work well but it seems nothing can be done about this. This is the worst hotel we've stayed in for years. I noticed nice rooms in other parts of the hotel and they were not being used. Just because we travel with a small dog which is like a member of the family, we were subjected to a dump!
