The hallways were hot and dingy, but the beds were comfy and the rooms were cold. The pool was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is bagels cereal and danishes but its cheap.

when we called said we could check in at noon when we got there the clerk was rude and said we couldnt check in till 2pm. tv was a joke great view of a wall and the laundry room. not close to beach like advertised. the wi fi didnt work till the day we left. the wi fi worked only in the main office. we will never go back the back seat of my car probally would be better. the only thing that was nice was the pool.

About the only thingt good is that I was down on buisness and it was a free stay...ok now with that out of the way....the hallways smelled like urine....the beds were ok....TV really doesnt have all 65 channels that work,,,maybe 40....the continental breakfast was a joke...stale cereal and spolied milk....glad Waffle House was next door..and glad I wont be back there

The positives are few and far between. The beds were comfy and the price was cheap. The bad are a little less hard to think of. We reserved our room the night before online, even got a confirmation letter online. When we got there (after traveling 8 hours), the clerk told us they didn't have our reservation. He offered to book me a room and i told him i wasn't paying for a room when we already paid for one. he acted like i was being difficult. he told me i could call the company... i thought that was part of his job. At any rate, I walked outside with my piece of paper, since he didn't give me a number i just called the one on my paper, someone picked up and i told them that i the hotel said they couldn't find our reservation. The person asked for the last name, i gave it and spelled it... next thing i know, i have him screaming at me, half in english, the rest in indian. I didn't know i had called the same JERK at the front desk. I was so irritated. When i went back in, i told him i didn't know i was calling them and he acted like nothing had happened but he had miraculously found our reservations. Once we checked in, the room was clean enough, the occassional hair here, coke can there. The back door had a tendancy to stick but when you finally got it open, you got a face full of odor. I think they may have had a mildew problem in the hall that they tried to cover with a floral carpet powder. Didn't work. I might stay here again unless that unpleasant young man was working the desk.

Within an hour of checking in to my room with my 6 month old infant son, I discovered a roach. Within another hour I discovered several more roaches. It got to a point that I could not stay in the room and I was scared that a roach would be on my baby. I was offered another room the next day which was located in the back of the hotel next to housekeeping. The workers were very loud and talked to one another like they were on the streets, not concerned that someone my have been trying to rest in their room. I was offered no assistance in changing rooms nor was I offered anything for my troubles. I have nothing nice to say about this hotel. Don't waste your time or money.

There was a murder committed at the Hotel while I stayed there!!! The service was the worst I have ever experienced. I never received any of my requested items. I will never stay at a Howard Johnsons again....
