Club Continental, Orange Park

We had our wedding here in April 2000. It was the perfect place. Food was really good, wait staff was great and the ambiance was perfect for a wedding. Seven years later and everyone still talks about how beautiful of a place this was for a wedding.

The setting is beautiful and I had high hopes that everything was going to be perfect. Wrong! We couldn't get in until 6:30pm. Appetizers were cramned into the small bar setting. Bartender was no where to be found at 6:30 (but the manager said someone had a drink at 6:18pm )this was in extremely poor judgment to argue with the mother of the groom. Beer was "WARM" and not chilled prior to 6:30pm. Butter was placed on tables way before the bread (not anything special)came and was melted. Soup was served without a plate under the cup and "NO" soup spoon. Filet looked more like a boneless rib steak. Children's dinners were wrong and did not come until after meals were finished. Wait staff walked about not knowing what they were to be doing. Very poor organization. There also was not tea or coffee served nor did they serve the cake when it was cut. Bathroom only had 2 stalls and could only be flushed one at a time. Vanity had drawer falling off. I am truly disappointed with the mismanagement of the whole event and the attitude of the manager.
