This is not a palace!!!

This hotel is not a palace, it is just a hotel. Upon arrival we did not receive the suite that had been confirmed a week prior to the trip. After going through two clerks, the manager managed to get us a suite. The suite room(s) were a tad above average. The Outback restaraunt's food and service were outstanding. On the second day of the trip, I noticed that they had charged my card over 1400.00 for varying amounts. After speaking with a hotel rep, she could not substantiate all the charges that I had been billed for. imagine that? We rented a car during the trip and valet demanded payment daily for services. The gentleman working valet however were very nice. The hotel did not have a shuttle to Universal, however I was told that I could walk to Disney. The pool side service was obsolete. After being told that the grill would open after 11:30 A.M. and a server would be sent over to us by poolside, I am home now and still waiting on the server. (Talk about service.) Prior to checkout, a message is left that you should stop by the concierge's desk and get a voucher for three nights for 199. Upon checkout, we stopped at the desk and was told that the person who does that was not working and basically was told there was nothing that she could do for us. We have stayed at the Grand Wailea in Maui which is a five star+ resort and I would put this hotel at a two+ star. If you manage to get a good deal, I guess this hotel would be OK. If you are looking for luxury, I would advise you to look elsewhere.
