Islander Beach Resort, New Smyrna Beach

I love this place. I'm 13 years old and when I mean loved it I mean want to stay down there forever.I left to go down there on Christmas and Go there the day after. The hotel has wonderful. It had a nice pool which I swam in everyday I was down there. The game room was fun , its where I spent most of my money. I'm coming back in August Can't wait

My family and I have been going here for like 16 years and always have and always will love it! It's amazingly great for kids with activities going on EVERYDAY (except check in day Sat. and Fri.)! You'd love it!

We loved the amenities on site - we loved the gorgeous view from our balcony - the rippling of the waves - a truly calming experience. Most of all though we appreciated the wonderful thoughtfulness of staff and the effort they put forth to make our stay a happy one. We arrived - tired and weary - with my brother who is handicapped but loves to visit Kennedy Space Center. He had stayed at the resort several times previously with my Mum and Dad and wanted to come back to this particular one. Now I know why! The staff, anticipating his needs, changed our reservation and placed us in a unit geared to the needs of a handicapped person - and what a blessing that was. From then on the experience was all positive - talk about 'service with a smile' - they deserve accolades!

This place was very good.we checked-in at 8 pm and we checked-out at noon.In both elevators,it had a list of activities the resort was going to have.But none of the activities were done except water aerobics starting at 9 am everyday except Sunday.The Game Room had a pool table,an air hockey table,vending macines,galaxa & mrs. Pac Man and other video games.the pool was big with two hot tubs and access to the beach.

Loved that we had our own "private" beach right there!!! It was absolutely beautiful! We can't wait to go back! It was close to everything and yet this area was not crowded like other areas!

My family has owned a week at The Islander Beach Resort since I was a little girl (I was 5) and now I am 27. My parents have only traded this week 1 time and that was for their 25th wedding anniversary and they went to Hawaii. We have been faithful Islanders for over 20 years because the staff treat you like family and the location is so close to everything, although being from Florida ourselves, we come here to get away from it all, which the Islander allows us to do! All the different activities that the Islander has going on through out the week keep you busy so you don't have to leave, unless of course you want to go out to dinner because when you're on vacation, who wants to cook! I would reccommend the Islander to any and all who ask!

it was fabulous! spent many great vacations with family here! close to orlando and daytona! i highly suggest staying at this resort, in fact i'm hoping to get married on the beach right in front in the next few years!

My husband and I enjoyed 3 nights in an ocean front room. The room was very spacious and clean, however, we found it odd that the only very small bathroom was by the front door. We did have to take out our own trash @ the end of the stay, which we found very diffrent from other places. We love New Smyrna Beach and visit every year. Everyone is always so friendly in the beach community and they have such great places to eat. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary this year and we had a great 3 days!

Its Great Location right of the beach...I Liked how there was things to do with your kids, and they had activities to do there. One year i was there i went with a group of kids and we were able to see the space ship lift off.. it was very exciting and i had a blast.

Everything, staff. accomodations pool.beach...........activities you name it..we always hava fantastic time..only bad time is the last day........... We love the poolside Bingo...been going 8-9 yrs..mised last 2 yr's for family reasons, will be there in 2007, if not sooner Judi
