A Diamond in the Rough

Very pleased with this hotel! Although I am sure it has probably been around a while, you would not really know that by the nice, clean appearance of the lobby, rooms, and pool area. It is very nicely kept, inside and out. The rooms are quite spacious and we liked the decor as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. (front desk, service men, and house cleaners) They fixed our AC unit within minutes of the request. The pool area is very nice with some covered areas, and a ping pong table as well. A coin laundramat is located next to the pool for convenience, and they also provide pool towels daily which is nice. There is a nice hotel restaurant on the premises or many others to choose from nearby. The locations is great and right on the beach. MUCH nicer,cleaner, and better kept than other nearby hotels. We would go back!

The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly. I have stayed at this hotel for several years and have never been disappointed. If you want a place to sit back and relax, this is it!

Great Place :)

Great place to stay. We had an ocean view efficiency kitchen and enjoyed every minute of our four night stay. The staff was friendly and we always saw someone in the halls or rooms cleaning. There is a nice pool and large area with chairs so you can sit and watch the ocean, talk to friends, or read a book. Easy access to the beach with shower area. The location is great. You are away from the crowded areas of Daytona but still close enough to drive to any attraction in just a few minutes. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Excellent value for money

Location, service, standard of cleaning and the friendly and rather calm hotel, certainly urge us get back. We have nothing on the dislike-list! The location on the beach is fantastic and there are stores just across the street. Also the opportunities to play golf at affordable courses nearby is a great active for the hotel....some municipal courses as well as the fantastic LPGA course did we play.

The food is delicious. We have been vacationing here for years and we just love it. We took our children when they were young. and now we take our grandchildren. The service is good, it is clean and the rates are great.

Best place to stay in Daytona....hands down

This is hands down the best place to stay in Daytona Beach. The standard rooms are huge, the restaurant is great, the pool is huge, and the place couldnt be cleaner. Every night they have a happy hour where drinks are on the house. Awesome deal. Cant beat it. We will be back!

Good time

For the second time on our trip from Switzerland to Florida, we included a stop over of 3 days in Daytona and in our Aku Tiki Inn Hotel. A lovely Place to stay, clean nice and friendly..... It will sure be in our next stop over in Daytona next year.

Will Go Back

It is right on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful rooms and great pool area. We had a wonderful stay there and will go back! There is an elevator for easy access to all rooms. We stayed on the fifth floor and had a beautiful view of the ocean. I got up at 6 every morning to watch the sun come up...priceless. You have access to the ocean and a shower to wash the sand off as you are coming back to the room. You co uldn't be any closer to the ocean. I wish I were back there instead of here in Mississippi!
