Atlantic Ocean Palm Inn, Daytona Beach

It looked like all of the rooms had a balconey, with a side view of the ocean. It was clean and reasonably priced. nice pool with beach access I enjoyed the Continental breakfast (Hot Waffles & syrup, toast and bagels, boiled eggs, fruit, cerial, muffins, juice and coffee) and they kept the coffee going all day. I would go back there again

My son and I have stayed here several times in the past three years. This motel is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are large and always exceptionally clean. We have stayed in the standard rooms when we were there for a short visit and in the rooms with a kitchen when we got to stay for a longer period. We spent Christmas 2009, the week following, and New Year ushering in 2010 and even though Daytona was experiencing cold temperatures, this motel was warm and very welcoming! The best part for us is that they not only have a wonderful family owned staff, clean large rooms, but they also allow a pet. We refuse to spend our money at any motel that refuses our dog. He is an important part of our family. The rooms are equiped with Bright House cable and is so very much better than Comcast!!! The tub and toilet are in a separate area from the sink, mirror, and closet giving you nice privacy. Each standard room contains a microwave and dorm-sized fridge and the rooms with the kitchen have a a full size oven/stove and fridge in addition to a microwave. It made fixing Christmas dinner a joy. There is an oceanfront sunning area apart from the pool. I do hope they someday ad an outdoor jacuzzi or hot tub. Since the owner's family manages and operates the motel, you never have to worry about mistakes on your reservation or rude behavior from the front desk. The housekeeper has been there for several years and is friendly and always happy to assist you with extra towels, tissue, etc. After reading the reviews here, I must say that the one a few reviews below mine, must be nuts! Apparently they wanted a wild vacation full of drugs and drunks. You definiately won't find that at Atlantic Ocean Palm!! We can't wait to go back!!!!

Front desk help very nice,rooms clean,view good,pool nice and heated,room had alot of space,had a grill to fix dinner on,safe.Just a good family owned place,like that.

While visiting Florida and Mickey Mouse, I decided that I needed to spend a few days at the beach as well. I did a bit of internet searching and found the Atlantic Ocean Palm Inn. The Atlantic Ocean Palm Inn was the perfect place to experience the beach. The price for an ocean front location drew me in instantly and it only got better from there. The room I stayed in was on the second floor; it was really big and had a great view. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was great. I really liked the fact that there was a hair dryer, fridge and microwave in the room and free wireless internet. They did not have breakfast, but they did have coffee and hostess cakes which to me was actually preferred! There were quite a few restaurants and diners around to walk to as well. The over all ambiance of the hotel was old Florida, and it is unlike many other properties like this that are run down and falling apart. It is obvious that this place is VERY WELL MAINTAINED. It is nice to see that places like this are still around. I have paid a few dollars to hundreds of dollars per night for hotel accommodations across the world and this was truly one of the best stays I've had. Such a great deal. Such a great place!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights with our cat in February 2006 and we loved it! The girl at the desk was very friendly, our room had everything we needed.Our room was very clean when we arrived. We were able to get towels when we needed them. We had a great view of the Ocean from our room. It was definately worth the money we spent. We will stay at the Atlantic Ocean Palm Inn again real soon!!!

the hotel was dirty and unsafe. the front desk wasn't there 24 hrs. the bathroom wasn't fully stocked on toiletries. there was no hot water to take a shower with. i wouldn't stay here again.

My wife and I had the privelage of staying at the Atlantic Ocean Palm Inn on Saturday, February 10. We had a "family emergency," and based on a recommendation, gave the resort a call. We were provided with a choice of rooms, and were pleasantly surprised with the facility. Granted, it is next to a major construction site, but during our 1 day, 1 night stay, we observed construction workers in the parking lot literally washing cars. We intend on returning there in Easter, and hope that this nice, little hotel doesn't go the way of the wrecking ball that so many others in the area have.

My husband and I along with our small jack russell stayed here and had a great time...the room was nice, kitchenette was perfect, love the chairs on the sun deck to lay out and the ocean is beautiful.....the only negative thing was we couldn't take our dog on the beach, but Daytona does have a "dog" beach, not far from here that was great!!! We will be back!!

I didn't like this place at all.The service wasn't nice and the pool was so dirty.I'll never spend my money for a place like that again.
