terrible
Its not that what is now the City Center Hotel is without positive characteristics. But the negative ones are what stand out and what you should know about before staying there. The room is boring and fake. It has the feel of something that wants to be classy and solid, but isnt at all, but is just a sham. We stayed in a quad, which included a queen and a pullout; neither were great all though they did the job. The bathroom is so so. It was not very clean when we got there and never got any better. The bathroom products are cheap and dont work well. Also, the room has, like the rest of the hotel, a feeling of fakeness and cheapness, where youre nickel and dimmed for everything they can get. 5 for cheap water in the room, 9.95 for one day of wireless internet, 18 for one day of hotel parking, which is terrible anyway. The lobby is much like the room, boring and nonfunctional. There are many nice places to sit, but what are you supposed to do there, its almost impossible to think over the drone of constant and clichéd classical music. The in hotel restaurant, Shulas, is more of the same. They wont serve you burgers in the main room, they wont show you a menu because they prefer, and think its classier to, display old and terrible food on a cart, they charge you exorbitant prices and fake class, but cant back it up. The waiters are inattentive and dont serve in a manor consistent with the price of the place. And to top it all off the neighborhood is dead and empty. There is a nearby gas station and a CVS to keep things interesting. Besides that parking outside of hotel parking is nearly impossible and not advised. I urge you to try some place else.
