Charged More

I made my reservations in March for a June trip. I arrived and was told that my card had already been charged for the amount stated in my confirmation email. I was actually not charged until 2 days after my departure and they proceeded to charge me $50.00 more than what was told to me by the person at the desk the day of my check in. I called to see why the additional charge and the person at the desk started to get rude with me explaining in a tone as though I was a pest to her that I would have to wait a few days to talk to a general manager. I called Days Inns customer service line and was told there was nothing they could do.
The rooms are what you are paying for. They are older. My mattress had a large rust colored stain. The shower leaked onto the floor when we checked in. I had to move the large entertainment center to plug in the microwave and fridge. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that goes on around you including the one of many middle schools visiting roaming the walk ways at night.
