Wedding Reception
By Dave, 11/04/08
I had my wedding reception at this Marriott in July. Now, in November, I am still dealing with disputes about charges that were wrongfully made on my card. This place is pricey to begin with, but now they are charging my $5500 that I do not owe. On top of that, one of our meals that we were promised was never brought out, the servers were rude to our guests, and we lost an hour of our dancing time because they took to long to bring us into the room and were very behind on dinner. STEER CLEAR!!!!! I wouldn't wish a wedding reception here on my worst enemy!

amazing!

my family stayed here the night before my sisters wedding. first of all it was the best deal ever and was right in this area with a ton of shops and restaurants right there! of course getting out of the room to go anywhere was difficult enough, the bed was so comfortable i was practically pulled off of it! we loved staying here so much we actually came back a few weeks ago even though we live in philadelphia and we had no real reason to go to DC.

in the boonies
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/06
Too far away from downtown Bethesda, squeezed in between NIH and the beltway. Very inconvenient location. Room was clean and quiet. Food at the restaurant is very price and below average quality (steak was ordered medium-rare, it arrived nearly well done with way too much salt in the sauce, vegetables were essentially raw).

Nice stay but they get ya
By carol, 09/30/06
They advertise internet access but charge $9.95 per day. Other Marriott's no charge. They get you for $8 per day for parking. Lounge, restaurant & room service very overpriced.Room was nice. Bed was comfy.

Best Bed I ever sleep on.
By Jesse, 06/19/06
My husband and I stayed there in May. We both said it was the best night sleep we had had ever. The bed had the best mattress. The room was super and the breakfast the next morning was to die for. We are coming back next year just to stay at the hotel. Gary and Jean Martin, New Brighton, PA

A very nice place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/05
Even though it is a large hotel, the staff gives you the impression that it knows and aims to please every guest. I felt pampered. I stayed for several days so I noticed small things like the breakfast menu was not always in my room for the next morning. But they were all small things that are easily dismissed by the pleasant attitude of everyone at the hotel.
