Beautifull Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/09
The resort is what you would expect from a 5 star resort. We started our journey from Denver DIA to Colorado Springs Broadmoor by using a car service refered to us by the hotel and are just as spectacular as the hotel services. Go to here site at http://www.americanfleet.org and reserve your transportation service. They take you right to the front of the hotel. We went to brunch which was so tastey. The spa has every ammenity you could want, massage, facial, manacure and pedicure. You will be pampered at every turn.

Amazing!
By A Yahoo! User, 01/11/08
I love everything about the Broadmoor. It is sophisiticated and luxurious! There is so much to do, you don't even have to leave the hotel! The grounds and the view are breath-taking! The rooms are ALL beautiful, clean and comfortable! I would recommend it to anyone who is willing to spend a few extra dollars on a hotel! It is TOTALLY worth it!

Not sure how they do it, but they do
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/31/07
It seems like "substandard" is becoming the new "standard" when it comes to service. This is NOT the case with the Broadmoor. We were there with a convention and I came away wanting to find out how they train their staff in customer service. It was a nice blend of impeccable service without being pretentious or overbearing. They made you feel comfortable weather in jeans or a suit. We were at another 5-star hotel in Aspen last winter and I'd take the Broadmoor over that place any day of the year. I asked for help from the bellman and he sent up a cart to my room. I wasn't quite done packing and asked him to comeback in 10 minutes. 9 minutes later, he shows up ready to help! Another staff member saw me struggling with a laptop and a box of training materials and just grabbed the box, and led me to our meeting room. I forgot to tip him, and in hindsight, he never made me feel a tip was expected or necessary. Food quality was great, scenery and the grounds are impeccable. I couldn't find fault anywhere! I live in Colorado and am proud to have the Broadmoor as a world-class resort in our state.

So this is what heaven is like...
By Bill, 11/06/07
This is simply the best traditional resort hotel in the world. Permit me to provide a brief frame of reference. I have had the good fortune to stay in many of the world's finest traditional hotels on business and for pleasure. To name a few, the Connaught , and the Grosvenor House (London), the Plaza and the Pierre (NY), the Beverly Wilshire (Beverly Hills), the Shutters (Santa Monica), the Drake (Chicago), the Hotel Huntington, the Mark, the Palace, and Stanford Court (San Francisco), the Phoenician (Phoenix), the Brown Palace (Denver), the Peaks (Telluride), the Willard and the Mayflower (Washington, DC) , the Georges V and Hotel Paris Le Parc (Paris), the Grand Hotel Plaza (Rome), the Bisanzio and Hotel Cipriani (Venice), the Grand National (Luzern) and dozens of converted, refurbished castles, abbeys and manor estates worldwide. None of these on their best day compare with the Broadmoor on its worst. Impeccably trained staff, magnificent rooms, championship golf courses (home of the US senior Open in 2008) and the tiniest attention to detail place this Great Lady at the pinnacle of traditional resorts worldwide. The guantlet has been thrown, Ladies and Gentlemen, and the challenge to the rest of civilized hotelry is clear.: match the standard set by the Broadmoor.

Wonderful time!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/07
Everything about The Broodmoor is first class. The rooms are beautiful and the service is excellent. Views outside the hotel are incredible. Our family finds plenty to keep us all busy. The outdoor pool alone is worth the visit.

Best place we've stayed
By Kelli B, 09/11/07
This is the best place that my husband and I have ever stayed. We spent a long weekend there with friends and loved it. The rooms were decorated in a lovely country French decor, the ammenities were wonderful, the spa was great, the golf course was fun, and the scenery can't be beat. We were there in early spring so we didn't get to use the outdoor pool, but the setting was lovely. Every staff member was extremely helpful and friendly. There are multiple places to eat on the grounds so you never need to leave. Of course, there are wonderful things to do in the area, also.

The Broadmoor goes above & beyond to accomodate!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/07
My husband, 11 yr old daughter & I just returned home from a magnificent 8 day stay at The Broadmoor. We have travelled all over the world staying at 5 Star Resorts & we must say, this place was by far the best! What made it such a wonderful experience was a combination of the "exceptional" friendly staff service, impeccable grounds/pool/spa/golf/tennis area, immaculate daily maid service, fantastic food, & the breathtaking views of the Cheyenne Mountains. We were very well taken care of the entire time & have never felt so pampered on a vacation. The hotel was crowded due to the 4th of July festivities, conferences & a wedding....but not once did we feel we had to wait for any type of service which was unbelievably amazing. I wish more 5 star resorts could be this good especially when you are paying for this type of quality service. The hotel is on the expensive side but it was worth every penny... Coming from NJ, we wanted to try & see some different but interesting places around the Colorado Springs area.....so we went to Pikes Peak, The Royal Gorge Bridge, Garden of the Gods, Cave of The Winds, The Cliff Dwellings, Manatou Springs & a trip out to Breckenridge. All great sites to see!! So, if you are looking for a wonderful getaway with or without the kids... this is the place to come. I would highly recommend The Broadmoor hands down.

Loved it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/08/07
I went to the Broadmoor for a business conference. This was definitely one of the top three hotels I have ever stayed in. The service was extraordinary & the room was absolutely perfect. As I wasn't paying for my room & meals, I can't comment on the expense or value. Getting wireless in the conference room we used was next to impossible though.
