Great Location, Great on-site restaurant

Our stay at the Iron Horse was great. Easy access to the slopes, and the staff is very nice. Especially liked the private shuttle service into Winter Park Old Town. The only draw back was the awful shower pressure. Don't overlook the restaurant at the resort, The Jane Grille, which serves excellent food -- we ate there twice. Yummy steak and meatloaf, and $.35 buffalo wings during happy hour.

OK, but we can do better

Not flexible with checkout time like a couple other places we've stayed. It was nice to have the Iron Horse shuttle available in addition to the Winter Park shuttle. Very little waiting for a ride. Liked the ski out/ski in. Dining room was subpar for the price. Little selection for dining unless you left the lodge.
