85 degrees in Feb.?

Heat, so hot you had to open a window and then the bar across the street let out around 2am and the noise made you shut the window.

Nice hotel, but overpriced
By Gary, 08/25/06
I really liked the location and the staff was wonderful but the hotel is looking somewhat shabby. The furniture in our suite was very old and beatup and for $1000 per night I think they could do better. The electronics were a joke, we had an old 17" TV in one room and an old 19" TV in the other. Bathrooms were very nice and the robes comfy. Food and bar prices were very high with cocktails averaging $10 each and our morning coffee and toast for two came to $32 without tip.

love the jerome
By anne, 09/20/05
The location is great and the service is outstanding. After a day of skiing and apres ski, you come back to the most comfortable beds in the world. It is loaded with charm and character. My husband and I have stayed there half a dozen times in the last 4 years and we have never been disappointed.

Nice Little Niche
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/05
The Hotel Jerome is the hotel to visit if you're staying in Aspen, Colorado. First of all, it is the most beautiful hotel in the city, as they preserved their hotel beautifully. It is one of the oldest hotels in the city, and there is no wonder why. The service is exceptional. The staff will always remember you when you go back, down to what type of soda you prefer and your pet's names. Another great aspect: pets are allowed, and the front desk is stacked with doggie treats. Everyone is so wonderful, and ask any staff anything, and you'll get it, down to your favorite boardgame. The location is amazing, right on main as you come into town, with a beautiful view of the mountain and within walking distance to all the best shops and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, the Jerome has a magnificent 5 Star restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy your afternoon or evening on the patio (in the summer) with a beautiful view of the patio. On top of that, they have 2 bars, a great, regular bar, and a cigar lounge. Amazing. There is really no reason not to be there.

An incredible life experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/12/05
This is one of the most outstanding hotel experiences in the world! Aspen is a unique locale and the Hotel staff seems particularily interested in making sure your stay is incredible and you depart wanting to get back asap. Very comfortable, very accomodating, even the ride to and from the airport was enjoyable. And the food was the best I've ever eaten. What a great place to relax and enjoy

problems
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/24/04
I stayed at the Jerome for several days in January 2003. The staff was exceptional. The rooms great. The "J" Bar, although small, was lively and the staff friendly. The restaurant was exquisite. The only reason for the poor rating was because the hot water was shut off for several hours in the afternoon. This was done without warning or explanation. I was just glad this did not happen in the middle of my shower.

Jerome
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/15/04
I have visited this historic hotel on a number of occasions and it has always been a great expierence. The staff are professional while being personable and engaging. The food, especially the braised lamb shank, is excellent. If you go to Aspen I recommend the Jerome.

Friendly Luxury at the Hotel Jerome
By M, 02/26/04
Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado is one of those places where you fall in love with life itself. The location, the service and the attention to details make this place un unforgetable memory. Hotel Jerome and Aspen have been through a lot toghether and still came up at the top in the end. It is a glamorous yet a very friendly and very real place which comes to complement what many people call the "dream world" which Aspen grew to be. Great location, unmatched service, and superb food - it could only be Hotel Jerome in Aspen, CO.
