First Choice Inn, Glenwood Springs

I declined 2 rooms before getting one that was tolerable. They are converting it to an owner resort, and will try and sell you a remodeled room. Sleep in the bed furthest from the tv if you want to sleep flat.

Very very dirty place, be warned do not stay here!!! It appears there are lots of local workers that live here. I don't think it's a safe place to be. We asked were the laundry room was and the lady said to guard your cloths. My wife looked at the washer and dryer and said no way were our cloths going in there. We went into town. The people at the front desk were ok, but not great. The curtains are thread bare. The floor was real dirty in the halls. The place is a pit. The breakfast bagels tasted like they were a few days old YUK..... Again do not stay here pay the extra and move down the street.....

My company puts me up free of charge for 4 years now week in and week out I stay there. Seen it all yes it's true. Hope to see you soon.

This place was amazing! They have done alot of upgrading. The rooms were very clean, and the front desk went out of their way for us. I loved the fact that there is a restaurant and bar connected to the hotel. I recommend staying here for all my friends and family

My wife and I have been coming to the First Choice for years and it has always been a great value and great service. This is not the case anymore. The rooms have not always been the cleanest but now they have ants as well, do not complain or they will make YOU feel like a nuisance as they did to me. The continental breakfast has only bagels, milk and cereal, not like before when pastries and lots of juices were served. You will need to go out for breakfast to get a good morning meal. Be sure to get your correct quote for any package deal because they are not what they once were. We were told one price on the phone when we made reservations, but were charged a price nearly twice as high. The customer service is only there to take your money and thats it. There is no other First Choice Inns so you wont have anyone to call if things dont go to your liking or if you have any complaint. The owner is the managing partner so she will not care what you say or do, or listen to any reason. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. This motel is not the value it once was.

Broken Windows, Transients, White trash bitchy owner, This place was like out of a Horror movie. Without a doubt, unsafe and SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I stayed at this hotel in mid August they had somthing for everybody in the family, my wife loved the pool, kids loved the breakfast and the game room, and the Steakhouse was my favorite. We stayed on a package that included rafting, dinners and passes to the hot pool. We could not of had a better time, and plan to make it a tradition.
