Timbers Hotel Denver, Denver

I really enjoyed my stay at the Timbers. The facilities were grand new and very nicely decorated in a western motiff. I would recommend this place for fitzimmons medical center extended stays, the Stock Show and the Airport. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a little higher quality too. I went there on business. I needed to be closer to the airport, but didn't want one of the airport hotels. The timbers is about a 10-15 minute drive, but closer to downtown, and especially the Fitzimmons Medical center. Some of my favorite amenities: Managers Reception in the evening with free drinks and appetizers, Free wifi, an excellent free breakfast, and restaurant/grill on site, a free shuttle that took me to the stock show. My room was nice with a great little kitchen, an outside deck area, and an excellent mattress and pillow. I am picky on the mattresses and was pleased. I spent 30 or 40 minutes wandering around the property looking at the western decor... there was some neat stuff, I put photos of some of my favorites on Flickr. I toured the property and saw that the spa was about completed and the conference space was going online. They showed me where the pool will be added this summer... remember, this hotel is new and just opened. I have to fly out of Denver a few times a year and will certainly be here again.
