Travellers Lodge, Eads

I stayed here because the location was convenient as I drove across the country; not much else around. The office closed at ten PM, and when I arrived late I needed to press the buzzer for service several times; the woman who came to check me in said she and her husband, who also does reception, were sound sleepers; so there is a need to be persistent with the buzzer for late check-in. Apart from that slow response, service was friendly and competent. The room was clean. The plumbing was a little funky - it took a long time to get hot water, and the shower cut-off didn't work exactly right, but I was still able to get a hot shower with ample water pressure. The wireless Internet worked well. The breakfast nook was small, but the options for the complimentary breakfast quite ample, including waffles, cereals, other breakfast staples.
