Look else where!

The units I was assigned were in disrepair. I was not satisfied with the place for the price I paid.
In unit 145, I found a damp wash clothe lying on the floor between the toilet and the tube. The complimentary hair shampoo bottle had been opened. The refrigerator had not been wiped in a long time. The light fixture over the sink did not work. I had to move a desk lamp to the bathroom counter to see. And the bath tube drain was partially plugged. Consequently, I had to stand in about three inches of dirty water to take a shower. Finally, the overall cleanliness of the room was below standard for me.
At this point, I called the front desk to see what could be done. I spoke with the manager. The clerk, who was very patient and professional during the whole ordeal, give me another room. The second unit, 251 was worse. I believe the manager had not checked the room nor had his staff. The first thing my nose noticed was the smell of cigarette smoke. The second thing I noticed was the broken locking device on the door. I was alone that evening. I could not stay in a room without a lock and feel safe. I did not want to look at another room. I was tired. I was ready to lie down for the night and rest. I only wanted to exchange my $71.82 for a peaceful good-nights rest after a hot refreshing shower.
When I realized my expectations were beyond the manager's capabilities even though I had worked so hard to help; I asked for my money back. The whole process took approximately two hours. I feel my request is not unreasonable.
