Villa Capri by the Sea, Coronado

If you like people to be in your business, then stay at John's place. Personal property is checked out before going upstairs. There are too many rules to follow while on vacation. I'd much rather spend the money and stay at the Del where the beds are comfortable and you can enjoy yourself. There is nothing comfortable about staying at Villa Capri except when you get to leave the property and be anywhere else on the island.

omygosh this place was the best motel i've ever stayed at well and also hotel you want to know why. The reson why is we would go to the beach every day and i love to go buggyboarding and i was bummed that i couldn't go bugg boarding and so we told that to the frount and they said that they had buggy boards and beach things like buggy boards of corse, sand castle utensels, shoffles, beach umbrelas and more. aka i love this place and a lovely pool which has been in shows

Villa Capri is a small Inn across the street from the Hotel Del and within walking distance to commercial Coronado. The innkeeper, John Miller, is a fountain of information who can answer all of your questions. Inn is small with ten rooms and/or suites but CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! Our room was cleaned daily and towels were fluffy and bed linens soft. Decor is outdated and slightly worn but spotless and comfortable. You can walk on the carpets and/or tile floors with bare feet. There is a small pool and ice machine. Towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys for the kids, etc. are all lent to guests free of charge. Complimentary Coffee, juice and doughnuts are available every morning. Our suite was spacious with an eat-in kitchen which inlcuded microwave, refrigerator, utensils, dishes and glasses. Bathroom was small but very clean. I would recommend this motel to anyone. We stayed here twice and will continue to return in the future
