I can't even begin to explain how this place is still in business. We arrived at the "hotel" 2 hours after check in time - waited 10 or 15 minutes for the clerk to show up at the desk and checked in - only to find the maid still in the room cleaning. We waited for her to finish and proceeded to unwind. The hotel room was not dirty, although the only coffee cup was a styrofoam cup that was wet, meaning it was rinsed out and not replaced. The view outside the window was a disgusting neighboring backyard. Since there was no phone book in the room, we asked the clerk to call us a cab. He called a cab, a black minivan, with no meter, no license, and an EXTREMELY aggressive driver. The cab cost us $16 for 3 miles, because the clerk called a limo company he was most likely affiliated with. We expressed our displeasure with the cab driver, who then proceeded to let the clerk at the hotel we were unhappy. When we spoke to the night clerk, he was rude and absolutely no help. The day clerk was there the next day, he accused us of treating the cab wrong and let us know we acted inappropriately. After our night out, we wanted to order a pizza, the night clerk would not let us in the lobby door, until AFTER he finished his cigarette. BE CAREFUL because I read fantastic reviews on this place before I booked it, so I think they're writing reviews of their own to bring up the reputation and to combat the bad reviews!!! This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at, we are in the process of taking up the matter with the Travelodge corporation. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I've been there just for one night and they had no hot water running for showers or bath they got only cold water! I made a complaint at the reception desk and someone came up to the room and check it themselves, after explaining me how to turn the knob to get hot water, like I'm stupid or something...Well, the water was still cold, so they see it themselves. Finally they said a plumber will come but no one showed up and when I followed up with them, it was like they hear it for the first time! It was a different person at the desk but had no knowledge about my complaint! Not professional at all! I recommend you physically check the hot water it first when you book a room. If it's really a must to be exactly there. Awful experience to get a shower with cold water, even in the summer time. regards.

I made a reservation by phone 2 months prior to arriving. When we arrived friday late our rooms were ready and decent. Every thing in the room and hotel were nice. We just wanted a place to sleep in. Most of our time was sightseeing. The reservation was for 2 nights. The pool hit the spot when it was hot all day. Our 2 night stay was very plesent. Dislikes: Parking was full the 2 nights we were there. We had to think twice before heading out. If it was worth going out and not finding parking when we return. The area of the hotel was very calm, quiet. The only bad about it, there is no near by store(s) if you want/need something. We would recommend this hotel. We would come back if we were to see Hollwood again.

The staff was very rude and could barely speak english. Upon check in we had to wait over a half hour for our room despite the fact that there was hardly anyone there. The room was clean enough, but there was trash and used paint water outside our window that would put fumes in our room whenever we used the air conditioning unit. At night the parking lot was full, so we were instructed to use the parking lot next door, which seemed rather shady. All in all, there are better places out there.

The minute we walked in the door of our room, I sensed something was wrong. There was a half a pot of cold coffee in our coffee maker. The shower curtain was torn. The carpet had a bad odor. There was no clock radio. I called the manager SAM Patel and he said he would come to the room, he never did. My family went to the front desk to complain to young boy. He would not refund our money, I tried to reason with him and he literally wwnt back to his office ignoring us. Since we HAD to stay the night. This was such a horrible experience.

Great pool ... not heated free continental brakefast. very bad free parking.............. space not avalable Cable tv..... not viewable all time Extra pillow not avalable on request one ice machine for free ice

Very bad breakfast. Un safe to park additional parking. No pets but i saw cat in lobby. Has a cable tv, defficult to operate. Need improvement breakfast/front desk service/ need more light in parking space next to restruent.... not safe to park .

* No hot water in shower * Toilet water continous running * Bad pillow ( i found one regular guest bring their own pillows) No parking avalable in Hotel property on friday, BIG SIGN " DESK CLARK WILL BE BACK IN 15 MINUTES" .... Desk clark told us to park in resturent parking lot next to hotel. Not enough light... fell very unsafe. Good things: room with a small table with chairs, a cable TV ( some times nor working), mini fridge, and microwave , Air con/Heater Also there was a hair dryer in the bathroom and an iron with the board in the closet.

I went to use the bathroom and the toilet wasn't working. I called the front desk, he told me to come down and get a plunger and do it myself. We cant sleep due to niose of ice machine. pillow condition bad, Refuse to give me a extra pillows.... by sam Very difficult to operate cable box & tv.

My husband and I were to stay at another hotel in Hollywood, but chose to stay here instead and we were very happy we did. We didn't have a reservation, but were able to get a room at a discount through a free hotel guide that we found at a coffee shop. The hotel is located in N. Hollywood which is an ok part of town, but we felt very safe. Close to Sunset and many hosptials, but was very quiet. We had a king size bed in the room, a small table with chairs, a cable TV, mini fridge, and microwave. Also there was a hair dryer in the bathroom and an iron with the board in the closet. Nice pool and friendly staff. The only drawback was that the ice machine was on the second floor. If you need something to do or see while in town check the lobby. Many ideas.We would stay here again. Very nice for a motel.
