Worst stay I've ever had

I can't even begin to explain how this place is still in business. We arrived at the "hotel" 2 hours after check in time - waited 10 or 15 minutes for the clerk to show up at the desk and checked in - only to find the maid still in the room cleaning. We waited for her to finish and proceeded to unwind. The hotel room was not dirty, although the only coffee cup was a styrofoam cup that was wet, meaning it was rinsed out and not replaced. The view outside the window was a disgusting neighboring backyard.
Since there was no phone book in the room, we asked the clerk to call us a cab. He called a cab, a black minivan, with no meter, no license, and an EXTREMELY aggressive driver. The cab cost us $16 for 3 miles, because the clerk called a limo company he was most likely affiliated with. We expressed our displeasure with the cab driver, who then proceeded to let the clerk at the hotel we were unhappy. When we spoke to the night clerk, he was rude and absolutely no help. The day clerk was there the next day, he accused us of treating the cab wrong and let us know we acted inappropriately. After our night out, we wanted to order a pizza, the night clerk would not let us in the lobby door, until AFTER he finished his cigarette. BE CAREFUL because I read fantastic reviews on this place before I booked it, so I think they're writing reviews of their own to bring up the reputation and to combat the bad reviews!!! This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at, we are in the process of taking up the matter with the Travelodge corporation. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
