Peach Tree Inn, San Luis Obispo

We were staying at The Peachtree Inn for a Bachlorette Weekend. There were 7 of us in the group and when making the reservations the Maid of Honor had requested 2 room with 2 beds each. this was to help keep costs down and we were all fine sharing a bed with each other. She had told the person taking the reservations that there would be 4 girls in each room. Once we get to the hotel the manager Claire seemed to already have an attitude. Calling our MOH a liar saying she didn't tell the person there would be 4 girls in a room and their limit is 2 per room. She told us she didn't want a lot of noise so she gave us 2 adjoining rooms, only 1 room had a king and the other 2 doubles. She told us she would have to charge us an additional $10 per person in each room over the max of 2 per room. It was either that or put us in 4 rooms (3 rooms were not an option for some reason) That was settled and we were told that we could split the bill on all of our credit cards during check out. The rooms were older and pretty shabby. Nothing great. The beds were horrible I don't think any of us slept well. They had an okay breakfast in the morning of store bought muffins, fruit, oatmeal, cereal and toast. Come check out we had to deal with the moody Claire again. She then proceeded to tell us that we couldn't all split the bill onto our credit cards because she gets charged $2 per transaction. We were all pretty fed up at this point with her and her attitude and the lies that we offered to pay the additional $2. To which we got more attitude. In the end our MOH just paid with one card and we had to pay her back. Needless to say we will never being using this hotel again. Even though it is a reasonably priced place, I would rather pay more for somewhere else rather than deal with the lack of customer service and attitude from the management at The Peachtree Inn.

Recently visited this establishment during the month of January 2010. The rooms were out of date, the furnishings were well worn, and unfortunately lacked in cleanliness. After deciding not to remain as a guest, conversations taking place several days later, with the hotel proprietor were unpleasant and insulting. Although the accommodations may be acceptable with some updates, the customer service issue may remain. I would not recommend this establishment.

I highly recommend this place. Everything was clean, and the location is great. It's literally right off the freeway. There's a free continental breakfast until 10AM, and best of all, there are free videos to borrow from the main office (and each room comes with a VCR). There's also a shuttle right out front that takes you to the farmers' market (it comes around every 15 minutes).

My husband and I decided to stay there one time,ever since then,that's the only place we stay.The staff is wonderful!!!!!They always greet you and make you feel at home.The location is great.Would recommend to anyone.

There are three people there Sandy, Hitch and Clair who are the nicest and best people to deal with. We have been staying at this hotel for years and recommend it to everyone, but hopefully not when we come so we can get our favorite room--haha Norma Smith Santee, Ca.

Our visits to the Peach Tree are always so enjoyable, and they welcome all members of our family which is the best part of our returns. Like the creekside rooms with the patio area. The treats in the morning are always the best and the selection of music is so relaxing.

It is right by Cal Poly and in walking distance of most things. Excellent service very friendly Perfect.

my mom and i came down from sacramento and Stayed at the peach tree inn. We got there and the people working the counter were very pleasant. They made sure we had everything we needed. They are cute little rooms. More for when you are going and looking for a place to sleep. And they have a great variety with their continental breakfast. It�s in a great spot just a little off the freeway on the main drag of town and very close to everything! Just down the street is there shopping center with mall shops. i am going back actually in 2 weeks and will be staying there again!

We have visited The Peach Tree Inn a few times now. There rooms are great. The breakfast coffee and muffins absoluetly a treat. There grounds are very kid friendly. Everything is within driving distance.

This place is something out of a fairy tale book, its perfect for a long weekend. The place is clean and the staff are wonderful, they make you feel right at home. The location is great the rooms are clean and the views are out of this world. Get this, they even give you breakfast, and its good to. I will never stay at another place when i go to san luis obispo, the peach tree inn is perfect for me.
