Tickle Pink Inn, Carmel-by-The-Sea

This small inn is tucked along a prime real estate cliff with breathtaking views from the rooms. My husband chose it for our honeymoon and I resisted, thinking San Francisco would be best. We did both, but Carmel is where I need to return and the Tickle Pink will be a regular tradition. Breakfast can be delivered but we loved going to the restaurant and sitting by the crackling fire. The wine and cheese reception is wonderfully bountiful. Champagne and robes and genuine hospitality make this easily my new favorite. We didn't encounter one awkward or rude situation in this little village of very happy people. I did feel like I needed a cute dog to walk in town!

Stayed there for the US Open last month and the accommodations were stellar. Champagne delivered to the room, hot tub overlooking the Pacific Ocean - a mile into downtown and the various restaurants. Walking to the Hyatt, that has a great restaurant and bar if you don't want to go into town. Binoculars available at the desk to appreciate the views. Would definitely go back - preferred over the Mission Ranch, which was also good.

Tickle Pink Inn is the perfect hotel for a romantic getaway. Everything about our stay was perfect. We were greeted by friendly staff, who would continue to provide excellent guest service throughout our stay. The room was beautiful - incredibly clean and visually stunning. The view was priceless and incredibly enticing. I would book another stay here and spend the whole time in the room! It was the little extras that took the experience from great to outstanding - the wine and cheese hour, the free continental breakfast delivered to our room, the comfy robes to snuggle in... most of all the fireplace and whirlpool tub made the weekend complete!

This was our first (and definately not our last) time at Tickle Pink Inn. From the moment we walked into our room, we were met with a heavenly view and a bottle of chilled champagne. The rooms are spectacular, the staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast (with the view) is wonderful. I didn't want to leave. Stop looking, I promise you won't find anything better. The Tickle Pink Inn is heaven on earth.

The Inn was spectacular! As soon as you walk into the room..BAM..the view of the Pacific, the rocks, the landscaping, it was wonderful. Within thirty minutes of our arrival we received a bottle of champagne, small box of chocolates, and a rose for the wife (FREE). Nothing comes free nowadays but the Tickle Pink had a bunch of complimentary items to choose from. The Inn was wonderful ,romantic, and secluded. My wife and I will definately be back for another trip.

I have no complaints. Everyone is so friendly and it is well kept and clean. You cannot go wrong with the tickle pink inn. Room # 30 suite has the BEST!! ocean view.

what is not to like? #23 was excellent great view of the ocean nice fireplace with logs supplied. Large room with even a hallway to master bedroom.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary here. It is beautiful! The staff was very warm and friendly. The restaurant on the Property is very nice. Our room over-looked the cove and I watched the Otters play in the morning while I had my breakfast. You can hear the waves from the Ocean in the distance and the room was immaculate. I rarely say something is perfect but this was.

We selected this hotel from the website photo, $509. We clearly did not get the same room featured in that photo. It didn't come close to what the picture promised. In addition, we had to carry our own luggage to our room. There was no bottled water in the room, no hair dryer in the room and the bed is hard and uncomfortable. It was a major disappointment.

What I loved the most was the Location/View... We had an Ocean View Room and the view was Amazing.. My fiance & I both fell asleep on the balcony listening to the waves crashing on the rocks. We were woken up by the Beautiful Sounds of Nature. The Service was great..! The location was beautifully landscape by all types of blossoming colorful flowers & it was well maintained. The rooms were spotless & the beds were super comfortable. If you are in Carmel you must stay at the Tickle Pink Inn... Regards, Norma & William Seminario
