More than meets the eye
By Anthony Klish, 04/02/08
This appears to be nothing special from the outside but the rooms are much nicer than you would expect. While I would never decorate my home this way, the furnishings are all very nice and you can tell there was careful thought put into matching the furniture with the bedding and the wallpaper. I was impressed with the workmanship of the TV Cabinet, for example. The room felt very homey and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is decent but not the experience I would have expected from the recent commercials promoting the Choice Hotels breakfast bar. Staff was courteous and responsive. A decent place to rest your head for the night where you won't break the bank.

Friendliest service in a good hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/07
We have stayed here the last 2 years for a conference at the Santa Clare Conference Center and are returning next year. The service is very friendly, with the manager carrying our bags to our room. Clean roomy room. Quiet. Internet connection. Nice breakfast with waffle maker. Only 1 mile from Conference Center and a fraction of the rate of the Conference hotel. Would recommend highly as great value in a fine smaller hotel. Can't think of a single negative thing to say about it.

It's good for what it is
By kalekoha, 03/17/07
We're in the middle of moving and needed a place to stay during the work week. This hotel is conveniently located off 237 and close to 101. The staff is very friendly and the bed comfortable. But, the room was dusty, furniture stained and upholstery torn, and the tub drained slowly. The first few days, the hall smelled of curry and cigars. If you don't mind these minor inconveniences, then you might find its value.

Great Hotel and Excellent Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/06
This hotel has just a perfect location for a business traveller visiting many tech companies in Silicon Valley. The rooms are very spacious with nice furniture. The free highspeed internet was a big help. I loved the workout room. They have many choices in breakfast and allow to take breakfast in trays to your room. The staff is very knowledgeble and extremely helpful. I saw a great guest recognition at this hotel.

Manager of hotel-impolite & completely insulted
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/23/06
Outraged and offended!!! Hotel manager falsely mistaken me as a working girl & told me I wasn't allowed to have visitors. I couldn't believe how rude the service was, all I did was walk up to the front desk. I didn't deserve it especially when it was just me and my boyfriend checking-in, that is all. For the record, I'm a RN and was on a short vacation. Thank you for your time.

Fair value for an inexpensive hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/21/04
I've stayed here several times. I ended up there by
accident when I attempted to check into nearby hotel
that I had a reservation for, but there was no front
desk clerk available to check me in. Instead I ended up
at the Quality Inn on Persian Dr, and never went back to
the other place on subsequent trips. Likes: very very inexpensive,
especially for a Silicon Valley hotel, free high speed internet,
free newspapers (while supplies last) at the front desk, friendly
staff, very clean rooms, exercise room.
Negatives: sometimes the sound for some of the cable channels,
like CNBC cuts out for hours at a time, free breakfast and
happy hour, but there isn't any real seating for meals ... just
a couple waiting chairs in the lobby.
