Crowne Plaza San Francisco International Airport, Burlingame

Like other reviews, other than the comfortable bed and the cleanliness, nothing else met the standard. My room keys stopped working for in and out of the parking and entering the room in the second day. The shampoo and conditioner were not replaced. We noticed that we left something behind. We were transferred to the housekeeping when I called. Nobody answered but voice messages even I tried several times. Finally I asked to talk to the front desk. Still no help because I was transferred to the lost&found and again nobody answered the phone. Till today, I haven't received any call back from them. I don't think that I will go back there again.

We had a great time and wonderful experience during our stay. The hotel is beautiful, cleanliness outstanding, decor is simple and elegant and the food was delicious,The mattress was comfortable as well as the bed and pillow, had a good nights sleep, enjoyed the swimming pool and Jacuzzi as well, we cant wait to go back again...Thank you very again Crown Plaza Hotel.

This is only slightly better than a motel 6. Emphasis on slightly. Parking is $16 a day. Breakfast is usually not included.

The front-desk clerks when I checked in were condescending and neither gave me directions to my room, told me about the wireless internet, or the in-house cafe. They handed me a key, told me to validate my parking, and ran my card for a deposit without explaining ANYTHING FIRST. I found this incredibly rude. When I went to check out, I was given a run-around about my 'incidental charges' and then I clearly heard the front-desk clerk ask someone to CHECK OUR ROOM. Excuse me? Check our room for what? Damage? Was I being profiled? Again--no explanation, just a lot of shady behavior. Next time, I will stay somewhere else. Only the cleanliness of the hotel and the comfortable bed saved this from a "Poor" rating from me.

Excellent value. Location is great, nice park with walkway to bay behind hotel. Superb staff. Very nice mid-price range hotel. Also, Burlingame is a very nice area.

Attended a 3 day training session @ the Crowne Plaza. Prior to arriving I decided to extend my stay 2 extra days to enjoy the Bay Area. If the company has me attend another conference/training in SF, I'm going ot ask that I stay @ another hotel, even if I have to pay the diference in the rates. The hotel LOOKS nice. Its clean & modern. The food at the restaurant "West Bay Cafe" was delicious and well plated. The service was AWFUL! From condecending desk clerks to dining room hosts seating you at a dirty table, to a bartender arguing about a comped drink card... The entire front of the house stsff need some intense customer service training. The manager (Deborah Casteneda) did a great job of damage control. Her background in customer service is evident... BUT that needs to be imparted to the frontline staff. Also... The heater/AC unit made so much noise that the earplugs in the "Sweet Dreams" kit were essential to a good nights sleep.

It was late at night and due to fog in SF, I missed my connecting flight. United Airlines then offers discounted rates to hotels so you can rest up and come back to catch the next flight out. So happy to catch up on sleep on a pillow-top, very comfortable bed. The hotel is thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs & an eye mask. The decor is clean, simple & elegant. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the airport shuttle too.
