BEST WESTERN Encinitas Inn and Suites at Moonlight Beach, Encinitas

The staff was great. They greeted me warmly as I walked in, they had my room ready early. The beds on the third floor were soo comfortable. I opened my sliding door to a wonderful balcony that had the best ocean view, we were 3 blocks away, but the view took my breath away. In the morning we went down to our breakfast that was included with the room, what fun..Fresh croissants, still warm , cereal and coffee bacon and eggs-who could beat that. Very family friendly but good for a romantic retreat as well. I will visit often. Thank you

every year me and my daughter go to this hotel,, we enjoy the beach, and spend 4 days just doing that,, this will be our 6th year returning to this hotel, its like my second home. and moonlite beach is a nice family beach.

WE HAD THE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE AND THOUGHT IT WAS WONDERFUL AND THE VIEW WAS FANTASTIC. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. THIS WAS ALSO GREAT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE HANDICAPPED. I KNOW THAT WE WILL BE BACK. THANK YOU.

Liked everything - especially the ocean view from the balcony. The rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast and the area near the pool very relaxing. I have family in Encinitas and Carlsbad so it's usually a yearly visit and can say we will pick this Best Western every time.

My husband and I were in Los Angeles for a family reunion. After the weekend together we decided to spend a couple of days around San Diego. We booked the hotel a week before our stay and at the last moment my brother in law and his wife joined us and a room was available. The hotel is situated off a main street but away from any noise. the view was wonderful (if you book an ocean view room). Our rooms were not ready till 4 PM but management was very concerned and credited us for the inconvenience. Parking is great and plenty. A bowl of fruit greets you in the lobby every day. The rooms are very large and well cleaned. The balconies are huge and very comfortable. Breakfast room is very large with about 15 round tables. It's away from the main building and is located by the pool. It was very refreshing to walk from the room to the dining room, it gave me a feeling of being at camp when I was young. There is a small strip of shops behined the railroad station (The train was an added delight and was not a problem with train noise, it stops after 8 or so) where we found and great restaurant, Roxy's and some nice shops. Hotel is not far from San Diego. After making over 20 reservations and canceling them I was very happy with Best Western Encinitas. The price the location and the food was perfect for the 4 of us. 4 adults between 45 and 59.

Loved this hotel. We enjoyed the fact that there was an elevator in the parking garage to take us to our floor and discovered our room was convenient to the elevator and the Cabana Room for breakfast the next morning. The hotel room was spacious with a large balcony. We had the added bonus of having an excellent restaurant right next door to the hotel. To top it off the hotel was very close to the beach and great shopping.
