1st night I was there I ate dinner in the lounge, no one was in the restaurant or lounge but myself. It took 32 minutes to get my entree, I ordered the Salmon, it was cooked perfectly but was drowned in some sauce that was less then complimentary to the dish. return to my room and have to swipe the card at least 3 times before it works. The shower head was missing from my shower, it was just a pipe sticking out of the wall.
2nd day Breakfast-6 people total in the restaurant. Waited for several long minutes before a hostess/waitress appeared. After being seated the waitress then again disappeared for a very long time. Upon her return I ordered the California Fresh. Again, she disappeared for a very long time. I watched as other people would wait at the door and then leave after not being seated by the absentee wait staff. My breakfast was way below satisfaction of what I expected considering the prices. The dish was suppose to come with a muffin but I received a danish instead. I got the waitresses attention to ask for a muffin and she informed me that they were out of them, she started to walk away. I asked her if I could request a substitute she said I could have toast, bagel or english muffin. I selected whole wheat toast. After a VERY long wait... I was done with my breakfast just waiting on the toast... she brought me cold burnt toast with frozen balls of butter. I choked down a few bites but gave up and prepared my payment. She never came back to me so I went and waited at her station to pay. She finally came back into the room, I had cash and again there was no money in the till and she begin to give me change from the wadded up dollar bills in her apron. She didn't have enough to make up my $9.00 change.
That night for dinner our entire conference came down to eat, again we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered 2 sample platters and two fried calamari dished (all deep fried). Took 35 minutes to get appetizers and a total of 50 minutes until our entrees of PIZZA came out. return to my room and have to swipe my card repeatedly until it finally works.
3rd day Breakfast-There was no wait to be seated! I ordered cereal and a banana. Banana was so mushy and bruised I couldn't even peel it. Again for the prices the food portions and quality were well below expectations.
Dinner-Went to the lounge to eat. Enjoyed Mike, nice service. I ordered Picasso Romaine. Chicken came out so burnt that the burnt taste over powered the entire meal. I ate all of the lettuce but left the burnt chicken on the plate. I left still hungry. Return to my room and have to still swipe the card over and over again before it will give me a green light to open.
4th Day-I ordered room service for Breakfast. I asked for this to be delivered to the room while I was exercising, they said okay. Then the waitress comes to the gym to ask me if I am ready for my food-I say again-Please leave it in my room for when I return - she said okay. I get to my room... NO FOOD. I call, they say they went to my room but I wasn't there and that they don't have keys to get it. I wish that the two separate conversations I had with the same waitress to just leave the food that she would have explained that they can't do it that way.
GYM-all of the equipment had dried old sweat stains everyday... meaning they were never cleaned. There were no towels present nor any sanitizer to wipe off equipment after using it. Cardio machines were cheap but effective. The weight machines were all broken in some way and I was unable to use them properly. Someone could really hurt themselves in there. The ab workout machine wasn't put together properly and wobbled so badly I had to get off of it before it tipped over.
At the end of the day I return to my room to find that my room key doesn't work at all. I have to go to the front desk to get a new one all together.
