MIDNIGHT MOVE.
the first three days of my stay was nice. The fourth day was a nightmare. I returned to my room after midnight, after a long day of sightseeing and enjoying the city. Upon returning to my room, i found the linens on the floor and dirty towels still in the bath room, even though my luggage was still in the room, my room was not cleaned. I promptly called the front desk and was told that housekeeping was gone for the day and that they could either send linen to my room or i would have to move to another room. I chose to move to another room. A belhop came to help with me with my move only to show up with out a luggage cart. I had to wait for him to return with the cart to move my luggage to another building, by now it is after 1 o'clock in the morning. But hold on it get worst, the new room 3110 air conditioner is not working. So not only did i have to change rooms in the middle of the night, but i had to stay in an uncomfortable room. When i spoke to the front desk manager, i was offered a free breakfast as compensation. This is not acceptable considering what i had to endure. The front desk clerk also stated that housekeeping had left him with forty dirty rooms! I asked if housekeeping was on strike and he stated that he did not know what happen. When i informed the front desk about the air condition problem i was only offered an apology and the clerk stated that she would make a note of the problem with the air conditioner. This is a hilton facility and i expected hilton service not a rent by hour motel service. My stay was from 5/19/06- thru 5/23/06. My original room was 5315 and the replacement room was 3110. I think i deserve to be compensated with more than a free breakfast!
