Awesome Hotel!!!
By Disneyprincess, 7/5/12
This Hotel was awesome! It's less than a 10 min walk to Disneyland. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating! Housekeeping was top notch. It was always nice to come back to a clean room everyday. When we checked in, we were given a $100 gift card to use for room service or restaurants within the hotel grounds, and pool bar. A nice surprise. All in all, we enjoyed the view of the pool from our balcony(9th floor) The pool area is one of the best I've seen, never overcrowded and very relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay
By Shankster, 1/23/12
We loved how close it was to the Disneyland Park - about a 10 minute walk - We loved looking out the balcony at Disney California Adventure in the mornings and at night after our day in the park. The Hotel has lots of Disney photos Club level breakfast is always fresh and a nice way to start the morning Rooms are clean and comfy Fridge is a little on the small side. After 4 days in the park the walk back was a little long that las night.

Sheraton Park Hotel Anaheim = lame
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/15/11
1 of 5 stars (I only give it 1 star because it's not possible to give it -1 stars) Pros: - reasonably close to Disneyland (15 minute walk) - clean lobby and rooms - Starbucks close by Cons: - poor customer service (both hotel & corporate) - $15 charge for internet - $15-20 for parking - extra charge depending on which side of the hotel you're on - rooms sorta old school, but updated - beds - like prison beds with extra pillows - rough sheets My first mistake was booking our rooms directly with the hotel. Doing so, you have no recourse if a problem should arise Note to self: Do not book reservations directly with the hotel; use an online travel site - there are many good ones to choose from. Once I had an issue with a reservation I made using travelocity and they were able to resolve the issue quickly. My issue began when the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort notified me that my reservation did not include the entire weekend. Meaning I would have to check out Saturday morning, not Sunday as I (and three other couples) had planned. Because I made my reservation directly with the hotel, I had no one else on my side and was forced to deal directly with the hotel. I can best describe this process as pulling your own teeth with rusty pliers. I should note that I was sent a reservation confirmation email, which I failed to review, but I make dozens of hotel reservations a year and never had to review one in the past - Thank you Holiday Inn, Hilton, etc. After 7 hours of sitting in the lobby and wandering the hotel with my 3 year old, I was told a room was available, but at the full rack rate of $190 (the other couples I stayed with paid $119 using online sites). By this time, it was 8 PM and we were happy to have any room... and any room meant a room on the first floor with a great view of the parking lot and a large camper parked just outside our door. We were charged an additional $30 for a "fireworks" view, which really means access to the parking lot to watch fireworks. The hotel was clean and the rooms where nice. On the downside: - the sheets on the bed were made out of a polyester blend and made a sound like someone wearing corduroy pants when you moved in bed. - Internet is not free. A charge of $15 per night. The connection was pretty fast, but shut down at midnight. - Parking is $15 or $20 per night depending on who you talked to. There was plenty of space to park, however. - It's about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland, but I think that is the case with most hotels in the area. - Oh yeah, the elevators. If you're in a hurry, it's quicker to walk 8 flights of stairs that wait for the elevators. As luck would have it, the elevators on our side were out of service for a bit. - It is more than clear the hotel staff is only there to get you into a room. If you have any issue, good luck. - Also, I guess they book a lot of weddings on weekends and the noise and lack of parking is evident at night.

Great pool, convenient, kind, attentive staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/23/10
I stayed there to attend a convention at the nearby Anaheim Convention Center. Beautiful heated pool with a 10 foot deep end. Great computer systems downstairs - they reactivated my room so I could use the computers after I checked out. I forgot my bathing suit, and they were kind to mail it back to me. Nice airy feeling about the place.

Do not stay here if you have a Pet with you.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/09
I am an spg platinum member. All Starwood hotels are wonderful with pets,, staff is always accommodating, professional, very polite. i will not bore you with my sob story about how rude the front desk clerk and front desk manager were to my mom and godson when they checked in at the Sheraton last night and to me later on, but just know this: if you have a pet (this is not the case for any other starwood hotel in the world) and check in at this hotel, you can only stay at ground level and in the back of the hotel, next to the parking lot). they will try to say it is for the convenience of the pet !!!!! don't believe it. it is the very bad decision of a very neurotic "upper level" manager, who is also unaware of how rude and incompetent their night clerks are. I had stay in this hotel twice before, and their day staff is professional and very sweet. this is the very first time I write a review about a hotel.... but felt pet owners that love their dogs as much as we do ours, needed to know about it. We ended up moving to the Westin south coast plaza, 15 minutes away, but same prices and 10 times better beds, rooms, restaurant and .... polite, professional night staff. By the way... our dog is a well behaved small shitzu, we can't even imagine what it would be like to check in with a large dog. It mad me so sad to have had this experience, I love starwood's treatment of pets and their clean air policies at most of their hotels, this review is ONLY about The Sheraton Resort Hotel in Anaheim.

This resort is wonderful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/5/08
The Sheraton Park Resort Hotel in Anaheim treated my family like royalty when we stayed there during my father's illness and death. Every employee went out of their way to accommodate us and were genuinely friendly and concerned that everything was more than satisfactory. The grounds are beautiful and the new renovation is very pleasing and relaxing. We also loved the fitness center, which has the top of the line workout equipment. The restaurant had fantastic food and service. The location of the hotel is ideal for walking to Disneyland and shopping and it is only a few minutes from Orange County Airport and not too far from LAX. We can't seem say enough positive things about the hotel and we thank everyone for making our week the best it could be under the very sad circumstances. Thank you Sheraton! Cherie McElroy

Horrible service & management!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/24/08
This hotel was a total disaster! My family and I checked into 2 rooms for 3 nights, we had my 2 nieces and my mother in law ( not including my own 2 children) with us, when we checked in the clerk was very misleading, I asked if there was a shuttle to Disneyland from the hotel and she said there was, but she failed to mention that you had to pay for that shuttle! I called guest services to set up a dinner reservation for medievial times.. THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK. Then , my husband and I decided to stay for 2 more days with just our family ( didn't want to have to move our stuff to another hotel )... We had went down to the front desk and gave them a form of payment and went on our merry way back to Disneyland, we returned back to our room to find that the keys did not work. They said that we never paid or set up the reservations for the extra 2 days at all... they even called the guy who set up the reservation and he said he didn't recall the situation at all! Manager was nasty and rude to my mother in law, would not help us research the payment, would not give us copies of our hotel reciepts ... had to have a manager unlock the room so we could get our stuff and leave! So , we ended up staying down the street at another hotel. To top it all off - after returning home they charged my credit card for the 2 nights that they supposedly didn't have payment for.( They have yet to refund my money.) I will never stay at this hotel or at a Sheraton hotel in my life Because of their horrible service.

We loved this hotel
By Ruth, 6/16/07
From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty! The room on the 11th floor had a great view of Disneyland and a balcony we could sit out on. The room was spotless, the beds were very very comfortable and the housekeeping spot on. The pool area is lovely, a family environment without being noisy. The service here was impressive too, staff asked if they could open the umbrella, get us a drink or food. For the three star hotel it was more than we expected. There was a shuttle to Disneyland which was convenient if we didn't fancy the fifteen or so minute walk. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/14/07
We booked a stay for 5 nights and upon arriving we knew we made the right choice! The hotel lobby was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. There are nice little gift shops and a small store for water, etc. Our room was wonderful. The beds were so comfortable with lots of ultra soft pillows. Our balcony on the 8th floor overlooked Disneyland and we could see the fireworks from our room. The pool area was so relaxing and gorgeous! I would definately recommend this hotel! Our stay was perfect! One pointer though.......We had a larger balcony with chairs and a table. We noticed some balconies were pretty small with standing room only. So request a bigger balcony if that is important to you.
