Hollywood Celebrity Hotel is one of the better buys you will find anywhere in town. Located just up the street from the Mann's Chinese Theater and Hollywood Boulevard, it is ideally suited for those who want to explore all of Hollywood's attractions. However, the bonus here is that it is a quiet sanctuary just off of the Boulevard and that it contains the charm of a B&B mixed with a 1930s glamor theme. Check website for details.

Great place to stay
By Tina, 03/23/09
This hotel was very clean and so cute!! The hotel personnel were super nice and helpful! The room was much larger than I expected. It had an outcove for a kitchen (micro, fridge, table). Two large queen beds with extra room on both sides. The location is super great. Within a stones throw to a nice outside mall and Hollywood blvd. For the price you really can't get much better. I used my AAA card and got the room for $99.00. It included a light breakfast! I can't wait to go back.

A real gem!

Great location and wonderful staff. We had a wonderful time and stayed several days. They even helped us arrange an impromptu trip to a Dodger game! We would definitely go back. Safe, convenient and clean!

Very pleased!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/06/08
We were very pleased with the location - walking distance to the Hollywood Squares, eating and shopping places. It was clean, excellent breakfast. Price was great as it included parking. The room was very spacious with hair dryer, iron and full kitchen. We would return again. Thank you for your service.

My New Place to Stay In Hollywood!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/08
I liked that I was able to check-in early. I liked the location. It's close to the Hollywood/Highland Metro Red line, and it's close to most of the sites and sounds of Hollywood. The room was clean, spacious, and included an iron & ironing board. The 2 desk clerks that I encountered were pleasant, efficient & organized. Avoid rooms on the north side of the building (the Franklin Street side) because of noise from the heavy street traffic. Very reasonably priced.

It was Oscar Worthy
By poms, 02/08/08
I like the hotel before they changed from a Pet Friendly hotel to Not Pet Friendly. But the Staff there can't be more friendly. If I said do this than within 2 minutes it would be done. The maid service they all speak Spanish so I couldn't talk with them. I made it hard. but Hey i can take it. It is right behind the Kodak Theater. So, it is really close to all the movie stuff and all the shops and food. It has a continental breakfast that is to die for.

Best Bang For Your Buck!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/07
Loved this hotel! Cute, little boutique hotel just a block away from all the craziness of Hollywood. Cannot beat the location and the price too! All the employees bent over backwards to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Free continental breakfast from isn't fancy but it'll fill the belly. Thoroughly enjoyed having my bagel and juice while sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful California weather. The only downfall in this place is that there isn't an elevator. When I return to LA, I'll definitely stay at this hotel!

Lovely place to stay in Hollywood!
By Stacy D, 09/07/07
We stayed at the hotel for a few days the last week of August and just fell in love with the place. Forget the chain hotels and enjoy a unique experience staying in a lovely updated 1947 small hotel. The public spaces remind one of old hollywood and large photos of past stars decorate the walls. The stair cases and atrium are lined with original looking iron railings complemented by the art modern woodwork. Our suite was large and comfortable. The living room was lined with windows overlooking the street with it's original buildings. We didn't use the fully stocked kitchenette, but someone staying longer might enjoy that convenience. The bedroom was huge with a walk in closet, a sit down private vanity table alcove and nice, clean bathroom. The large bed was very comfortable and dressed in lovely bedding. We enjoyed the free breakfast and sat on the patio in front a few times. Parking is just behind the building and the staff do everything possible to have your car available when you need it. Being so close to the Kodak Theater made it an ideal location, but you'd never know how close you are to the action by the quiet of the street the hotel is on. A quick pass thru the garage of the Kodak led right to the hustle bustle of Hollywood Boulevard. Great room, great price, great location on Orchid, friendly service, close to the action...who could ask for more?

Bad Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/04/07
The food was undercooked, the maids didn't clean, the price was very expensive, the whole place was ugly, and boring. I did not like the activities either.
