DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! under new management.
By Michael, 8/10/10
The first appeearance of the the lobby is nice but the rooms are dated and carpets are filthy. I walked in my room for a few minutes and the bottom of my feet were black. The new owner has got rid of room service and serving dinner. the FREE HOT BREAKFAST they advertise is a joke. The resturant manager doesn't have a clue on how to deal with poeple, and don't even ask for a fried egg because you will get a deer in the headlight look. We are a family of four and every time they cleaned the room they only left three towels, leaving me to call every morning for one towel. If you do stay here take the stairs its faster than the very slow elevator. Don't yell at the poeple at the front desk remember its not their fault. Its the new owner and management to blame. they're there for damage control.

Great Stay!!!
By Matt, 4/26/09
Great stay!!! Just to clarify, my entire family 2 adults / 3 children (all below the age of 5) stayed 6 days/5 nights. We had a great experience here. We had 2 adjoining rooms for all of us, housekeeping did a great job cleaning up after all of us and kept soap and towels plentiful. Upon check-in I requested a fridge and crib be delivered to the rooms and before I had the bags from the rental car in the room they were delivered and setup for me. The pool was great and kids loved it. We stayed in April when the weather can still be a little cool and pool was very warm (as it is heated) and my 1 year old was very comfortable. There was a lot teenagers there when we stayed for a band convention and it was a little loud but the pool curfew of 10 pm is strictly enforced and allowed for good quiet time. We stayed on the first floor which I read in other reviews on other sites stated it can be a little noisy; but I found it no louder than any other hotel I stay in for my job. I travel a lot for work. This was a great bargain and great stay!!! It was conveniently located right off the highway and very near Disneyland where we went 4 times. The FREE shuttle to Disneyland is great and runs from when it opens to when Disneyland closes. Saves $12 a day in parking every time. It runs every 2 hours until closing and is very convenient. The only thing I would criticize about the hotel is the shuttle; it is kind of old and not as nice as the other hotel's shuttles. But it serves its purpose and got us there and back each time without fail. We had no issues with poor customer service as the other review suggested, we were treated very well!!! Will certainly stay here again for sure!

BEST HOTEL IVE STAYED AT
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/6/08
The Wyndham in Fullerton is one of the best hotels ive ever stayed at. First, i arrived late 11:00PM and the check in/out was easy. the staff was very nice and accomodating. The lobby and grounds were very nice along with a inviting pool area. I arrived in my room and was quite surprised! it was very very lovely. carpet appeared to be new, no stains or funky smells, balcony with a bistro table, cute amenities in the bathroom including very nice blow dryer kept in a sachel, bathroom was very very clean. white linens and white bedspread. the bed was very very comfortable. we had 9 pillows in our room. the towels appeared to be new and were fluffy and inviting. Close to freeways 91 and 5. a few minutes from the Orange county court and few minutes the other way to disneyland. would definately stay here again and again and honestly can't think of one thing that was icky.

off the beaten path
By DANNY, 1/8/08
A really nice hotel. A few miles from Disneyland which is a plus. This propertty has a really great pool area. Very nice. If you are a byrequest member as i am, you will receive a welcoming beverage and snack already in your room when you arrive. Also can specify to have extra towels, pillows, hangers etc. What a nice service. I personally on the occasions I have stayed here would highly reccomend this hotel.

Location is Great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/18/07
We are from Singapore and our agent arranged our stay for 3 nights with breakfast included. The reason for staying in this hotel is because of its location to Disneyland. Apparently, the breakfast was a disappointment. Not to mention that NO change in menu, the food taste terrible. Also, the restaurant staff was unfriendly because one of the days after breakfast, we wanted to sit for about 5 minutes, the staff said we can't as there is another group of people coming. The room is small, old and dirty especially the carpet and quilt. I would not recommend to friends.

The perfect place for families!
By April, 6/15/07
We absolutely adore the Wyndham Fullerton because they cater to families and their needs. The location is ideal, as it is outside the chaos of the immediate area of Disneyland. The complimentary shuttle delivers you to a perfect spot between the front gates of Disneyland and California Adventure, so you avoid dealing with parking hassles. Wyndham ByRequest is free to join, and all members are treated to a welcome beverage and a treat that is waiting in their room upon arrival. The staff is amazing! The rooms are "child-friendly" as they are not ultra-modern and you don't feel as if you have to walk on eggshells with little children. The Palms dining room is delicious for all meals, and their breakfast buffet is perfect before an exciting day at an amusement park. We live in San Diego, but we stay there about once a month because it is pleasant, convenient, and the staff takes great care of all guests. We strongly recommend this establishment for families.

I would stay again
By Andrew, 2/2/07
I was apprehensive in staying here for the Namm show, $129/night. This is a bit high for the amenities, but room prices were inflated for a convention that draws over 80K. I would not have stayed here unless they refunded the $10/day WIFI fee. Upon check out I had to ask that they remove the charges. You do get two newspapers to read - USA today and the WSJ. The king bed was in comfortable. The room was clean and in working order. The fitness room was in good shape. The shuttle to the convention center was always on time. The hotel is close to a shopping center and the local Costco. I would stay here again, but while in town, I liked what I saw at the Econo Lodge on Harbor. For $60 less a night, you will be closer to the park and the rooms were comparable to the Wyndham.

Not worth the savings
By Karen, 1/7/07
The lobby is beautiful, and the people at the front desk are very nice while you're checking in. But the rooms were old and the beds were lumpy. And the walls were paper-thin. Fridges and microwaves in the rooms cost extra. When I called down to the front desk to ask for a non-feather pillow, they acted as though they'd never heard that request before and said they'd ask in housekeeping. I never heard anything else about it, and never got a new pillow. One good thing is the shuttle to Disney, but since all hotels in the area provide that, it's really not all that special. We *did* save about $10 a night over another hotel in the area, but in my opinion, it wasn't worth it.

Great hotel for the price
By Tanya C, 10/20/06
This hotel has some odd decor, such as lion statues everywhere mixed with Egyptian style statues. However, the hotel is very nice considering the price; it is a great value. The beds are very comfortable and really nice feather-like pillows. We were supplied plenty of towels. The room was cleaned nicely and great consideration was given to all of the stuff that I had to bring for my job. The location is convienetly located by downtown Fullerton and close enough to Disney without being stuck in the middle of the Disney crowd. I recommend registering for Wyndham's reward program prior to your visit as it will give you free internet when you are there.
