Perfect for weddings and parties
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/5/08
We held a party for our daughter's graduation from college here and had a wonderful experience. The banquet staff was very friendly and helpful. Whatever we asked for they got for us. The food was excellent- especially the Chicken Marsala! We had rooms to spend the night so we could enjoy the party. They were spacious and comfortable

WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS FIRST
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/5/07
This was just an overnight stay, booking the room was quick and easy. When we arrived the hotel looked good from the roadway, but up close it was very tired and worn down in appearance. The clerk at the front desk was very pleasant and check in was a breeze. The rooms were clean and comfortable but in need of updating. The closet doors had pad locks, the drawer and cabinet doors in the bath room were nailed shut so you couldn't store any toiletries if you were staying any length of time. We were given coupons for free breakfast of one sausage link or bacon, a pancake and eggs any style. In the morning when we went to breakfast the waitress was very rude, came to the table asked what we would like to drink and snatched the coupons off the table without asking if we wanted to look at a menu..which we did. My husband had to go hunt her down and tell her we all didn't want the free breakfasts. Which only lead to her being even more rude since she had already placed our order with the cook. I ordered the seafood omelet, which was to contain shrimp and crab meat. The seafood must have been frozen and then defrosted in the microwave for a long time as I was unable to eat or even bite into what little seafood was in the omelet. The young lady in our group ordered the belguim waffle and was very rudely informed that it would take 15 minutes to heat up the waffle iron. When her waffle came, it took my son with a knife to cut through the edges of the waffle! I'll stay at either the Motel 8 or Holiday Inn Express next time I'm in the area!

The Unhellpfull Writing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/05
What i disliked the most is that my friends and i were hanging out and then my brother got out of the shower he left the bathroom door open a while later we heard something drop in the bathroom when my brother went to go see what was going on he foud "Hellp Me" written on the bathroom mirror. Yes Help was writen with double L's and then we freaked out as we all layed down trying to go to sleep, we switched the ligth closest to the balcony off and it kept on flicking on and off and thats when we all got scared and fell asleep but the experience was not NICE!

Great if you like this kind of treatment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/05
Desk clerk uncooperative and sullen. I decided to book somwhere else. She knew what I wanted to know but was determined to not cooperate and then put me on hold without asking so she could "talk with a real customer." Rude even when trying to book a room, imagine the actual experience. I wouldn't send my friends.

Would never go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/6/05
Arrived on a Friday, around 5pm. The hotel looks nice from afar, but is well worn when you get closer. Though my stay was just overnite I was given a room completely around the building on the second floor, the curtains had been left open on a scorching day and the a/c was off. It took over 3 hours to cool the room down. The interior hallways are not air conditioned, nor are the stairwells which make walking to your room on a hot day pure torture. My window faced the parking lot and I was forced to hear all late arrivals during the evening.

just a stop-over
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/1/05
This was just a stop-over during Christmas travels so we didn't spend a lot of time on amenities. The not-so-good things: the heat didn't work and there were no extra blankets in the room. The "continental breakfast" was mainly pre-packaged sweet rolls (yuk) and a selection of cereals (ok). Good things: the room was quiet and roomy and they accept pets.
