Nice, Clean Renovated Hotel
By JV, 06/04/09
It was defnitely a good value for the money. The beds were comfortable and are exactly what is pictured on their website. The rooms have been recently rennovated so they are very stylish and modern looking. The pool was nice as well. They light up fire pits in the evening so it is very relaxing. You can see the Disney Fireworks very well from the windows on the 6th floor and above. The breakfast was okay but I didn't feel it was worth the price. Children 10 and under do eat free so that can save you a few bucks but when we were there the buffet was about $10.95 a person. Everyone that works there was very helpful. They set up a ride to the airport for us. The park is about a ten minute walk to the front gate. This can be a little tiring. The ART bus does stop there so you can ride the bus to Disneyland if you want. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping straightened the rooms up nicely on a daily basis. We stayed there ten nights. If you can get the room at about 99 dollars a night or less than it is a bargain. The rooms were very clean. They do have a laundry facility onsite but there are only 2 small capacity machines and 2 dryers and it seems everyone was always doing laundry. They really do need more washers and dryers for the amount of guests that they do have. I will be visiting again in Mid June so I will write another review than to let everyon know if the service has stayed consistent.

Won't go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/01/09
Good - Room was clean and quiet. Bad - Reserved King Bed Room. Arrived and was told all King Rooms don't have a bathroom door! So took a handicapped King Room which had bathroom door - no bathroom countertop, no hair dryer, no towel racks, showerhead very hard to work, no closet to hang clothes in. Since there were no bathroom counters I set a glass on back of toilet. When we came back to the room the glass had fallen off and shattered all over bathroom floor. I called front desk and got no response so called housekeeping and they said they would come and sweep it up. 45 minutes later I called front desk and they answered and sent someone up within 10 minutes. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not stay at it again.

Try somewhere else - to many unexpected fees
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/08
We booked thru hotwire (which I will NEVER do again) when we got to the hotel our room was clean but in disrepair there was wallpaper peeling from the walls, stains and rips in the carpet. There was a $10 PER DAY parking charge and they held $50 per day for "incidentals" which they have yet to release and we have been home 3 days. Also the restaurant on site was VERY expensive $15 for breakfast per person. The staff was friendly but it didn't make up for the extra charges and yucky room.

Never go back!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/08
We were not told about the $10 a day parking until we arrived. The staff at the front desk were rude. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. We are smokers and reserved a smoking room, but when we arrived were told there was no smoking in the entire hotel, although their web site states most of their rooms are non-smoking rooms, not all. We had a confirmation that we had reserved a smoking room. The maid reported that she smelled smoke in our room and $250 was charged to our credit card for this offense.

NOT GREAT SERVICE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/07
First of all no one told us it was in the process of changing names. We cant check in when we arrive, the room was still dirty when they said it was clean, and the front desk was just a bunch of kids with no clue. I thought I would stick it out, but then the hotel catches on fire in one of the rooms. Ok - understandable -- but then the mgt can not open the health club or the business center. GREAT HOTEL ON A BUDGET BUT NOT BUSINESS !!!! Go to the Sheraton across the street - for a few dollars more -- ahhhhhhhhhhh

GREAT location...excellent value.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/07
Some areas of hotel are showing wear; staff is very friendly, efficient and helpful. Great location...better value than higher priced hotels next door. Walk to Disneyland And California Adventure 1 block away. Food was very good and reasonably priced.

Radisson Hotel Maingate - Anaheim
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/07
Five night stay. I cannot help reporting that it was indeed worst in the hotel where it stayed in the past. I think it is reluctant as follows. There is no refrigerator. The air conditioner is annoying. The charge for the parking lot use is added ten dollars a day. It took time because reception desk man was one person at the check-in. There is no spa. 1.The valve of an osculum of the lavatory is broken and it doesn't move. Later repair. 2.The water of the bath tap doesn't stop completely. Later repair. 3.The switch of the sofa light is broken and it doesn't attach. There are neithera repair nor an exchange no matter how it reports. 4.Neither the memo nor the pen are in the room.It is insisted to the reception desk that it not have it on hand in Radisson. 5.The laundry bag is not in the room. It brought it by reporting three times. 6.The telephone of the room was out of order. I gave up and did not report. 7.The floor cleaning of the room is not done. Garbage and the stone had dropped at the same position. 8.The floor cleaning of the passage is not done. It is the same as seven. Especially, it was anxious that the chocolate remained. 9.The air conditioner of the passage is broken. It doesn't repair. 10.The dryer of the launderette at the hotel is broken and the noise is. It doesn't repair. 11.The card of the door lock was not able to be used on the fifth day. Magnetism has been adjusted again. 12.Reception desk man doesn't exchange it for 25 cent coin used in the launderette at the hotel. 13.The garbage at the morning of the day remained leaving it for the table the bed sideward in the evening of the fifth day. It was said "ok" "no problem" when that was asked to the reception desk and did not mistake it at all only because it put it in order. Therefore, I thought that it did not want to stay twice at the hotel where Radisson and the name were given.

blah
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/07
This hotel is not as nice as other Radisson hotels I have stayed at. From the peeling wallpaper to the worn linens on the bed. I was not impressed. The furniture is old and it is obviously in need of a facelift. The toilet ran non-stop. The fixtures in the bathroom were broken and missing pieces. It took over 20 minuted to get hot water up tp the 8th floor. By that point I was just happy to get some hot water.
