That's all I really ask for in lodging. Everything else is icing... and this property delivers! Flowers in bloom virtually everywhere one could see. Mgr on duty cheerfully and professionally setup difficult late night dining arrangements. A real blast of cool, fresh Coastal Air, blew straight into our room via balcony, making one think of absolute heaven. Only thing wrong with this stay - was having to say goodbye.

The Best Hotel !

This hotel is WONDERFUL. The service and the people are the best I have ever come in contact with at a hotel. I am always treated great! The beds are wonderful!! I have my best night sleep at this place besides my own home. I have told my husband that this is my favorite hotel. The price, location and the service you can not beat! It is a wonderful place. When we want to relax and feel like we are on vacation we go to this hotel.

Beautiful Facility

The room itself was beautiful. The fireplace and valted ceilings made for a romantic escape with home. The sevice was wonderful. At the front desk the lady gave us a map of the area and mentioned the favorites of the town. We will definately be back.

a real respite- wanted to stay longer

It was a lovely setting and great room. We only live an hour away but were so exhausted from some other weekend experiences that weren't so great, that we just didn't want to make it home that night. We were lucky to get a room without a reservation, as the lodge was nearly full. In the morning we had a nice short walk to enjoy one of the better "continental breakfasts" we've had at a motel. A glance at the nice pool area, being cleaned and set up, made me wish we didn't have to get home. We'll be back for a nearby vacation, soon.

We lived in the Bay Area for 8 years as a military couple. As beautiful as the places around it are, it is hard to find somewhere affordable that isn't congested by people and cars and still close enough to the city for a weekend getaway. We felt as though Half Moon Bay gave us those opportunities and the Best Western Half Moon Bay Lodge gave us good memories. The better rooms with fireplaces are a good deal, we liked the decor and the service was great.

We will be back for more!!! Highly recomend to everyone!!!!

My family spent Saturday March 5th here to celebrate my 46th birthday on Sunday. We all had a wonderful time! It's close to some nice places to eat, and about 9 miles from the great tide pools @ Fitzgerald Marine reserve. The weather was beautiful! The lodge had a sign in the lobby to wish me a happy birthday, and they had awesome homemade tasting cookies, and apples in the lobby when we arrived. We enjoyed the hot tub after spending the day @ the beach. The room was nice and comfortable, and clean. The continetial breakfast the next morning was AWESOME. The best we've ever had! They had items to please everyone. We had a very enjoyable stay!! Thanks for helping to make my birthday extra special! Judie Tietjen
