La Quinta Inn Sacramento Downtown, Sacramento

This is the worst La Quinta I have ever stayed at. The price was raised $6 upon check in. The AC would only cool the room to 85. The claimed free wifi does not work and I have to use my own air card to post this. The room is the smallest I have seen at any LQ, and I stay at them regularly. The worst part is this place is in a ghetto. The parking lot is full of drug addicts and whores. I only stay here because its late and I'm to tired to find something else. I hope my truck has not been robbed of my tools when I leave in the morning. Stay far away from this place!

on the day we were leaving after a 2 nite stay, my husband suffered a heart attack and was taken by ambulance to mercy general. the hotel lowered the room cost for me for the 2 extra nites. they had to vans to get guests to get where they needed. i asked to get a ride to the hospital since we going to be leaving, we were almost out of money. i spoke to the general manager and in my position, where i no car, cuz we took the train and no money to pay for a taxi to go 6 miles to the hospital. i am so disappointed about the GM not caring enough, to help me out. therefore, i didnt get to see my husband in hospital. i have never had an experience with a business who has no compassion for their guests

When I am making travel arrangements for myself or for my bosses, I look first to La Quinta Inns when it comes to overnight accomodations. The La Quinta personnel are friendly and most helpful. Rarely, have they not been able to provide everything I've asked of them. I have yet to received a single complaint from anyone for whom I've made arrangements at a La Quinta Inn. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. La Quinta Inns are accomodating when it comes to business travelers (ie. computer hook-ups, faxing, telephone services, wakeup calls, etc.) Both Corporate rates and personal rates are reasonable and La Quinta Inns are conveniently located for our personnel to conduct their business. The Sacramento La Quinta Inn is the one I am most familiar with as I have booked many a room for our out of town guests. I have, however, personally stayed at La Quinta Inns in three different cities in Southern California and have been treated well, no matter the location. Good hospitality! Good service!
