Dana Point Harbor Inn, Dana Point

$90 in this area was a great deal no matter how the rooms turned out. The fact that this place had friendly staff, was clean, and had great parking was a bonus. Very nice rooms for the money even if a beach wasn't right across the street. As I said before staff was very friendly. We left some personal items behind and realized it halfway to San Diego after checking out. Called them up and asked if it was possible to hold them for us for a few days until we were on the return trip. They came through with no problem, and were very efficient and friendly with retrieving our items. Great location, many restaurants nearby to suit your need, and great service at the inn. I'd definitely stay there again...

This property is definitely not worth the rates they charge. It is old and the rooms are pretty run down. Everything there is very basic - the decor, towels, toiletries, pool, etc. It was moderately clean, but again, very basic. Stay across the street at the Holiday Inn Express - their rates are better, their beds are amazing - whirlpool tubs, fridge, 2 rooms, balcony, clean and everything is about 3 steps higher in quality.

This was a very nice, well kept motel with fine amenities. The rooms were decorated, immaculate and contemporary. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast offerings and proximity to the beach and harbor. Only drawback was access to parking in a large intersection.

in spite of a mix up and a lost reservation upon arrival, our host was most gracious and went above and beyond to make our two night stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. The staff was very courtious and the accomodations above average, immaculate and in spite of being nearly full it was very quiet. The best value we've experienced in years. At long last we have found a place to stay in south Orange County where they treat you, not with indifference, but as if you are a truly welcome guest.
