Anaheim Express Inn, Anaheim

The whole staff was very friendly. Great price given that it's pretty close to Disneyland and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't awesome, but I've seen a lot worst and it was free so it's not too bad. I was reading the previous reviews and I am not sure how they found the manager to be an idiot. I was thinking of opening a B&B and he had very good advice to give. Also, if you're going to Disneyland and have kids with you, you should go to a nice 4 or 5 star hotel. And if you can't afford it don't go, its irresponsible.

This place is way overpriced and run down! Shuttle is not available sometimes and the internet was slow. The front office staff was ok, but I do have to agree with the comment below and say that the general manager was a total idiot, clearly lacks a brain.

The price is WAY overpriced.. i was lucky to leave 2 days after that found a place down the street for 40 dollars cheaper... I came in with my reservation and already noticed there were no other cars.. i should have known. The room were cheaply painted. It would be okay if the price wasn't so high... And the General Manager is such an IDIOT... he doesn't even know anything about managing.. Tried to explain the same thing 6 DIFFERENT TIMES in the SAME LANGUAGE... I told i got it after the 2nd time he kept going and going... PLEASE BE ADVISE TO BE CAREFUL.....

This Days Inn really has been wonderful to our family while away from home. Thanks again for making us feel welcome at your hotel. Best tip: Call before Arriving for extra information & make sure to make a reservation in advance for better deals. This Days Inn is excellent for family vacations,conventions,and a good night sleep!!! Honestly, If you are on a budget and can't afford to stay at the Disneyland resorts, this Days Inn would be your best choice. My family and I stayed here in Jan. of 2009. The whole staff gave us excellent service while we were here. As far as the free shuttle, If people would take the time to call the hotel they would have told them exactly how many times it runs and how often. That's how I found out about everything by calling before I booked. Out Of all the DaysInn in the area this was the very best one in customer service, cleanest, and quite. We just spent 4 nights at the Days Inn Maingate. I rented this place because it said it was close to Disneyland, had a shuttle & breakfast. It is about 4 blocks to disneyland and the shuttle ONLY runs 30 minutes before the park open and then picks you up 30 minutes after. No runs during the day. We ended up paying $11.00 a day to park our car, so we could come back to the room and give our kids naps. The breakfast was 2 kinds of cereal (frosted flakes & Raisin Bran.) chocolate chip mini muffins & danishes. They had coffee, milk, Tang (not real organge juice.) and apple juice. This would be a good place for a 1 night stay--but I would spend the extra $$$ for a cleaner, closer and better place. They have remodeled the rooms, but have painted over dirt. The overall feeling of the place is cheap. On the plus side they did have Safe's in each room that you could program with your own code and use while you were away. We used it and all of our stuff was left untouched. The front desk people are not there at night, But I did see both a security gaurd and anaheim police doing sweeps of the property.

The new management has made wonderful ways in turning it into a great place to stay... Good people to serve you, good service and caring staff!

The place was very clean and near Disney . The only thing we didn't like was the slow internet service. The place was comfortable, friendly and located a few blocks from Disneyland and a couple hour drive to LA. The check in and out was fast. There was lots of stores and restaurants in the area to go to even if you decided to walk you could. The pool seemed very small and the area it was in but when I was there it didn't matter because it was too chilly to swim.
