California Seacoast Lodge, San Simeon

Hotel wasn't as advertised. Our room was in a seperate wing, the North wing, down the road from the main hotel. It had obviously been, at one time, a different motel that was painted to look like part of this facility. The decor is old, the furniture is worn, the bed was uncomfortable, the cushions on the love seat were filthy, and the bathroom was infested with ants and bugs. If you plan on staying here, request (or demand) a room in the South wing, and definately eat breakfast out in a restaurant (over in Cambria). The deluxe Continental breakfast at the hotel is little more than coffee and toast.
