Needs A Lot Of Help
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/3/11
Stayed here this past weekend for halloween haunt. Price wasnt bad considering what you got: Parking Admission to Haunt Haunt T - Shirts Haunt Dinner Buffet Breakfast Buffet Next Morning Dinner buffet was good, but missed the appetizer table and carving station that they have inside the part at Spurs Chophouse. Haunt was good as always, event though some of the mazes do have room for improvement. The room though, Super 8 & Motel 6 in the dirty parts of Vegas are better: Bed was so hard that if you bounced on it, you didnt bounce Pillows were so soft that you were better off just using the hard mattress Towels felt like sandpaper even after they were wet Shower pressure was non - existent. The highest setting was Niagara and that was definitely an abuse of the word And then, to top it off, the breakfast buffet the next morning. Would have been better had Denny's or IHOP catered it: Tray of Scrambled eggs (decent, not runny like they are at most places) Tray of Bacon & Sausage (unidentifiable as to pork or turkey or something else) Tray of Hash Browns (shredded type, so not always the best) Tray of French Toast (decent, but have had better) Oatmeal (didnt try) Cereal station (for the kids, but saw more adults eating from it than the regular food - didnt try) Pastry Table (very lackluster - didn't try, but wife did) No toast, no bagels and no biscuits. This is the Knotts that is famous for their fried chicken and biscuits and yet they were no where to be seen. KBF management, since Radisson is no longer involved, needs to reasses this establishment before adding the title of "Resort" to the name. Stayed here a few years ago when it was Radisson, and do not recall it being this terrible. Will stay again for Haunt so we dont have to deal with the drive home, but would not stay for any other reason.

low class hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/15/11
We were not expecting too much as were booked in with a large group. However we were very dissapointed. Bathroom sink was cracked and dirty, Bathroon fan did not work and was full of dust.Bathtub filled up as you used the shower could not get the stopper to stay up.Carpet was stained and dirty and sheets were all wrinkled not crisp. We would definately not stay there again. One redeeming feature the banquet food was excellent and the staff in that room was pleasant.

Surprisingly Disappointed
By Sheri, 8/7/11
The worst hotel stay I've ever had. I had high expectations for my weekend stay at the Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel unfortunately I was terribly disappointed. The room was awful, I felt like I was in a cheap motel and the service was non-respondent. The room was small, stale, dingy and dirty, There were stains on the toilet and reddish brown spots on the bathroom door. There is no sink inside the bathroom which is quite inconvenient. I endured 3 sleepless nights during my stay from Fri.- Mon. I woke up in pain each day from the beds (the floor would've been more comfortable than the beds they provide). The sheets were itchy and the blanket was rough. The noise level was unacceptable. I was annoyed by the constant stream of boisterous ppl traveling through the hallways and on top of that I finally had to get up at 6am because of the noisy leaf blowers outside and the clanking/banging sounds from the hotel maintenance in a rm nearby. There is only one restaurant in the lobby and they have a tiny gift shop that is closed the majority of the time. They charged $100 per night but provided the accommodations of a cheap motel. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Avoid this place!
By Chet, 5/8/11
Hotel management and security are extremely rude! Watch hidden parking and other charges on your credit card. I'll never stay here again!

Family Vacation 2010
By Johnny R, 7/21/10
I booked this hotel because of the good rates and park admission included which is a great deal. when we arrived we were told we could not check in until 4:00pm, we were allowed to receive the park tickets early to go ahead and spend our day. When we came back to check in we were given room number 509, when we got to the room it was outdated and a terrible sight. we asked to change rooms we then got moved to second floor, That room was the same, dirty carpet, never cleaned , bathrooms not cleaned properly hair and dirt around the toilet and shower. We asked to be moved, robert who was very helpful moved us into the Snoopy Rooms, those were great they had been remodeled and up to date. My advice is this hotel is under renovation it's a good hotel but only book the snoopy rooms on the second floor. Most of the staff is very friendly especially Lisa & Robert those two go out of their way to make your staff a pleasant one. As for the food ,the hotel restuarant is over priced, Go get the Knotts Fried chicken, the family order, by far the best fried chicken you have ever tasted, All within walking distance of the hotel. The park was nice, we enjoyed the shows and the old west theme, but that's our bag we love the old west.

Bedbugs!!!
By Heidi Barnholtz, 4/30/10
My brother his wife, my boyfriend and I stayed one night here for my brother and my birthday. We got a smoking room because two of us smoked and the balconies were "just for show" as they told me (never understood that but ok). The window only opened two inches!!! I understand the hazards of their experience at this hotel being bad, but let them jump if they want to. When we first opened the door it smelled so bad, not even like smoke, just rank. We went to the park for the day and leaving the window cracked the whole two inches helped. We woke up the next morning and found a bedbug on the comforter. That is just too disgusting! When we checked out I got my money back for the room and for parking... the funny part is the manager didn't seem the least bit surprised that we had found one. I have found one other review with bedbugs... I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Horrible in every way
By Carolyn N, 8/25/09
Rooms were dirty and lacked any comfort. The beds sagged, the sheets were rough (do they even clean the comforters once a guest checks out?). The staff was rude and made it clear they hate their jobs. You have to pay a $30 fee for your room for any incidentals--why not just have you put a cc on file like every other hotel on the planet? You have to actually pay for a refrigerator in your room? Even Super 8 give you a fridge. The parking is atrocious. No reserved parking for hotel guests--there were 3 different functions going on at the hotel the night we were there so parking was 3-4 blocks away!! Plus you have to pay for parking. I will never darken their doorway again.

WASTE OF TIME
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/19/09
I went there with my dance company. When we arrived, I jumped into the pool after a hard dance workshop. The pool was dirty. I went to my room to get in the shower. Once in, I realized there was no shampoo, only conditioner. I went to some of the other girl's rooms and they had shampoo, no conditioner, and only one of our 4 rooms had soap. Three of the rooms were missing trash cans, and the hotels air conditioner is located low to the ground and soaked my entire suitcase. The staff did not make any attempt to be friendly or helpful, whatsoever. And to top it all off, I left my retainer on the nightstand. The maid threw it away. I was stuck for a month without a badly needed retainer, that cost nearly 400 dollars. Now I have to get my teeth fixed again from nt wearing my retainer, which will cost more on top of the 400 I must repay. The park wasn't even great. Most of the rides gave me either whiplash or a horrible headache. The rides were crappy, the lines were long, and the workers were all either incredibly grumpy or incredibly annoying. Do not even waste your time.

Friendliest Staff Ever
By Cindy P, 6/24/09
My son and I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights the second week in June. If we ever have the opportunity to stay in the Orange County area, we will most likely stay here again. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I have stayed at nicer hotels but have never stayed at a hotel with a nicer staff. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning well before check in time but the Lady at the front counter was eager to accomodate us. I actually felt as if she was genuinely concerned about our comfort. The room we were to be checked into was not ready but she was very helpfull in making sure we at least had a room that we could relax in, shower, and take a nap in until our room was ready. After having traveled for the past 11 hours this was greatly appreciated. I will admit we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel other than to sleep and shower. But it was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. I will say I was not happy to find out that the internet access is not free, neither is the video game system in the room but we didn't really have time for that. The Laundry facility was adequate and reasonably priced. The buffet was basic, but the food was good and the price wasn't too bad at $12. The staff was always courteous, friendly, and very accomadating to all of our needs. My son acquired many stuffed animals on our trip and every evening when we got to our room it was fun to see how Housekeeping re-arranged all the stuffies on the bed.

Excellent and affordable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/25/08
My family loved the hotel. We stayed for two nights. The price was affordable. It included 4 tickets to Knotts, 4 tickets to Soak City, and free breakfast for all 4 of us the first morning. The room was big and clean. The Hotel also has a great pool that was clean with fresh warm towles. We will be using this hotel for future visits to Knotts.
