Beverly Laurel Motor Hotel, Los Angeles

by far the worst hotel.... the 5star reviews from before are lying. dirty rooms, horrible parking lot, they don't even provide shampoo and conditioner when we asked where we could buy some they said a shop like a mile away. just a bad area all together. i would rather stay at a hotel6

Great location, trendy with classic deco style.. many people in the music and entertainment industry stay at this spot. grat food next door. Feel like a rock star baby.

the staff was very helpfull and curtious, overall i give the hotel a big two thumbs up!!!

The staff was nice, the courtyard was clean as was the room, the shower was broken, the vanity was broken, the microwave didn't work nor did the refridgerator didn't work either and the cabinets were nailed closed. You be the judge

I stayed at the Beverly Laurel in May 2010 and I loved everything about it.. I enjoyed the retro feel and the room was nice and very clean with a nice size walk in shower. The pool was clean and the people at the front desk was very nice. For the money this is a great place to stay with very clean rooms I was very impressed and I will stay again without hesitation.

Needed to stay night to check in for surgery very early next morning at Cedars-Sinai . Perfect location, one mile, excellent price, friendly service, no charge parking, comfortable and clean. Very pleased.

As motor hotels go, the Beverly Laurel has service and accommodations way beyond the norm. I would recommend it to anyone who wants value for their money and is staying in the area.

We had a great time in LA. The view from the rooms and corridors is magnificent, the place is immaculate, the service amazing, and the atmosphere quiet and peaceful. You'd never guess how close the motel really is to everything! We loved it so much so that we are sending the parents-in-law there while on their trip to LA and we're sure to get some really great brownie points with them.

The Beverly laurel Motel was a good value for the money. It is situated in a great location in a lovely neighborhood & the connecting diner is great for morning breakfast. Although the decor is old, I found the room to be clean & the shower was great!!!. The man at the front desk was helpful & each day I got the extra towels that I love. My biggest complaint was the room air conditioner - LA was very hot when I was there in late Sept/Oct'05 -& the room AC was barely adequate for my comfort. I enjoyed the motels close proximity to the Farmer's Market - "a shoppers paradise" with many shops & restaurants. R.E. - Whitestone, NY
