You call this a hotel?!
Usually, you can rely on Best Western hotels to be decent. Martys Valley Inn barely qualifies as a hotel! The main purpose of a hotel is for sleeping, but how can one sleep if loud drunks are partying right downstairs?
We arrived at about 6pm, heard and saw the party at the meeting room, and figured it would be over before 8 or 9. We returned from dinner after 9, and people were still there yelling. I asked the front desk when the party was going to end, and the receptionist didn't know! Don't they have a schedule? She ended up moving us to another room, which was quieter, but didn't have a security lock.
As if this wasn't enough, the next morning, my husband went to make a waffle at the continental breakfast at about 0915 (it closed at 0930), and no batter was left. He and another man asked about it, and the other man was grudgingly given some, while my husband got none! Now, we are polite, professional people and didn't bring this on ourselves. This hotel doesn't deserve to be called a hotel, much less a Best Western.
