Best Western Casa Grande Inn, Arroyo Grande

We booked our room through princeline.com, specifically stating that we have two children and therefore need a room with two beds. At check-in, front desk staff would only give us a room with one bed. She said it would cost us $20 more if we wanted two beds! When we got to our room, the door was open. We were afraid to enter intially. Turned on bathroom light to check, the fan sounded like a 747 taking off in your backyard. They reluctantly gave us a different room. One drawer of the dresser was missing. It looked like something picked up at the dumpster. The worst part of the experience was that when we compalined about the bathroom fan, the front desk lady didn't even write it down....apparently had no intention to fix it. I feel sorry for the next guest. God bless Casa Grande Inn.

This hotel is overpriced, rooms are shabby and the help is terrible. The toilet overflowed and I went to the desk for help. The evening desk clerk gave me some towels and said he would send over a plunger. 20 minutes later I called the desk and they said they would take care of it. 20 minutes later I called the desk and the desk clerk hung up on me, I guess i was spoiling his evening. The towels must be 10 years old and the decor is from 1970. I will not only never stay at this hotel again, i don't think I will ever use Best Western again. What a dump.

Inviting clean room (only a little spider web in the shower tap that my courageous boyfriend had to take care of it); free wireless in the room; very pleasant hotel with nice service and tasteful architecture style and details. My surprise: About 20 years in business!

This was a very nice hotel. A little pricy but not to bad if your just trying to get away! Very comfy and clean! Its great for a romantic getaway or just a place to sleep!

the hotel has a good look to it. i liked the gym and the pool but they should consider building another spa or more because the one was always occupied. the room was clean and equiped with an iron, hair dryer, and tv. the pool should be left open longer. it is near some good restaurants and ten minutes away from the beach and a good outlet mall. the continental breakfast was not the best the baked good tasted a little stale. i'd give the service a 4/5 as the employees were not always helpful. generally it was a good stay and i would stay there if i was in the area.

For the dollar, great value. Always stay while in the area of business. Plan on using in the future for a golf outing break, due to its location near a number of great courses, plus wine country, the ocean. Staff is super friendly. No restaurant on premises (although a free buffet breakfast that is very convenient and a value break). Only problem I have with this review is too many others may discover the spot.

We were searching for hotels to accomodate a 200 guest wedding. My room was very dark and smelled like mildew. The lobby, room interiors and the bed and bath linens all needed upgrading. Everything looked like it was 25 years old. Needless to say, we did not include this hotel on the preferred accomodations list.

I guess some off road bike racing was going on because many young guys drinking out in the hall way

Beautiful hotel and very clean. Loved the room size and heated pool. Staff was excellent. Really no complaints.
