great hotel; but when leaving, the front desk had a charge on my bill that I did'nt make......The problem was expediantly resolved and I did'nt get stuck with paying someone else's bill.

utmost in comfort and luxury but overpriced
By harriedMom, 12/31/08
We stay here every year because of the location on Sunset near 405. The service is excellent, the room spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed comfy and the bathroom luxurious. The food in the cafe is superb. Everything here is overpriced. Extra nightly charge for parking on top of room rate. We keep staying here every year though.

Another Great Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/07
My husband and I stay at this hotel almost every month when coming down to Beverly Hills. It is wonderful from the front desk to room service along with comfortable beds. You can find good deals on-line which makes the stay even better.

We are going back!
By Crystal, 03/05/07
The hotel itself is in two parts on a 7 acre lot. We checked in at the bottom part and then were asked to park on the upper level. Rooms were huge along with a great view of the city. My husband and I will be staying there weeks at a time in March, April and May while I have some testing done at Cedar Siani. It is right off the freeway and only about 5-10 minutes from Beverly Hills. If you are looking for a nice hide away this is it!

average, that is to say, mediocre
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/28/05
Sure it is slightly cheaper than the hotels in the area, but the experience was luke warm. The hotel is old and the rooms are a bit worn.

Excellent Retriet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/05
The hotel has everything it said in it's ad. I was impressed with that big size swimming pool it was very clean. The rooms are also nice and clean and very specious. The service is friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is what it is .... a continental breakfast. Would stay there again with my family. I stayed there only for one night. The property is very big, so expect to use the car to go somewhere, if you like walking, this is the place to go!

An excellent retriet for the Money!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/16/05
I was impressed with the customer service, the bar tender as well as the restaurants within the hotel. The hotel is very clean as well as the rooms of course. I had an excellent stay there and would go there once again. The price is right to and the hotel is located in the central area for LA and Hollywood. Once again, the staffing is very nice and helpful with all!!

Tranquil luxury near UCLA & Getty Museum
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/04
Low-key and off the beaten track despite the freeway-convenient location, the Luxe delivers on its name with plush, luxury appointments in rooms that, while visually unimpressive, are more than comfortable. Luxury marble bathrooms help raise the bar on quality. In all, a good bargain for the money and location--close to UCLA and the Getty Museum, among other West-side destinations-- especially considering there aren't a lot of competitors in the neighborhood.
