Rodeway Inn Swiss Holiday Res, Eureka Springs

I love everything about this place. The price is PERFECT. The service is just awesome. The management, staff, and even the owner treat you as if you are a part of their family, and as if you just belong there. This place feels less and less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. I always have fun in Eureka Springs. There is plenty for just a couple, or whole family to do here. This hotel makes the experience all that much better for us every time we come here, which is about every six weeks. This is our weekend getaway spot and we love it. I will very highly recommend this hotel to any middle class folks, who are not into the super ritzy motels. This place is not for you. Go stay in your $150.00 a night room and have way less money to spend on dinner and family. The location is the best. It is right in the center of the action in Eureka Springs. You can get to all the sights easily, all the shopping easily, and you are out of the way of major downtown traffic. Easy access to restaurants and wonderful shops make this the best choice for a hotel stay, in my opinion. Check it out. The great staff and service make it more than worth your while.

I loved everything! We came in late at a spur of the moment deal and it turned out great the hot tub at night was perfect and very secluded.

You can certainly find swankier places for a higher price but if you want a clean room and a good rate with an owner and staff that will bend over backwards to accommodate it's guests then you have found the right place. This is my seconds stay at Rodeway Swiss and will be back next year. Joe and staff were incredibly helpful planning my motorcycle ride route and suggestions for dining that were right on.

i had to go to my brother in laws poorly put together wedding and this hotel was the only thing that didnt have something wrong with it.

Reviews: Our group met at the Swiss Holiday Resort on Friday, October 27, 2006 for an afternoon of training and we spent the night. We had a wonderful meeting facility at the hotel, it was the perfect time of year with the beautiful fall foliage all around us and the meeting room was a separate private building out back nestled in the middle of the beautiful fall foliage with large picture windows on three sides of the meeting room. We have a small group but we had great participation of about 45 – 50 met in the building for breakfast and this was fantastic. We definitely plan to return and will recommend this site to anyone. Joe McClung, owner, is definitely a plus. He stops by several times a day to check on things. We had car trouble during our stay and he gave us access to his tools & private vehicle for getting parts to fix our vintage car. Perfect location for Corvette Weekend. Can stay and watch from balcony & easy walk to Pine Mountain.

The owner and staff at the Swiss Holiday are very courteous, and make your stay in ES a very enjoyable experience. My wife and I have been coming to ES twice a year for a group function since 2000, and always stay at the Swiss Holiday Resort. They truly make your lodging experience at pleasure while in Eureka Springs!! We will be back in May 2007.

Just wanted to say Thanks to Mr. McClung and his staff for going above and beyond normal to accomodate our party of 4 during our recent visit to Eureka Springs. We arrived late in the evening traveling on motorcycles, encountering an unexpected busy weekend due to a Corvette Club rally. We enjoyed seeing all the beautiful cars in town, but was not expecting all the hotels in town to have no vacancies. We pulled in front of the office and my wife went in to check if there were any vacancies, being none available she was coming out the door telling me and our riding partners. A nice gentleman walked up and ask if there were any vacancies and we said there were none. We thought he was just a traveler like us looking for a place to stay for the night, but it soon became obvious he was the manager of this establishment. Mr. McClung told us there would probably not be any vacancies for that weekend and we agreed. We thought about going to another town, but we do not like riding on bikes after dark because of the hazards (deer and other wildlife) you almost always encounter at this time. Mr. McClung said he totally understood our concerns being a biker himself, and pointing out his bike parked near the front door. I will not go into detail about what toubles he went through, but I will tell you that this very friendly gentleman went above and beyond the normal to accomodate us that night, including the great feeling hot tub and pool that was made available to us. He and his staff were the friendliest we had ever encountered during our many travels and we highly recommend staying here, and we are sure we will be staying here again ourselves. We stayed here during the Bluegrass Festival this past August. The staff was great and the owner showed us all the hospitality we could want. The music in the lobby made it seem a little more laid back and the pick'ns at night were fabulous. Itis the best place to stay during this festival. Rooms were nice and it was a very pleasant stay.

Lovely staff and owner, extremey helpful and kind. Every time something was needed, they did everything they could to help me in a timely fashion. The rooms in the back are quiet and look out onto woods and deer, and the swimming pool is a refreshing place, set lower than the road so it's somewhat secluded. Due to the proximity of the woods and the inability to seal a room from little creepy crawlies, I often had an assortment of insects come in; woods variety, nothing else. However, I would watch carefuly for spiders, crickets, and moths, since once inside, they're tough to get out. But that's not the hotel's fault. Just Arkansas in summer. Overall, nice place, but the staff is what makes it.
