Never Again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/24/09
The first room they gave me smelled of smoke. The second one was better, but lots of dirt behind and under furniture. We had trouble to find a working outlet for our laptop. The furniture was from the 50s and ratty. Mattress was okay. Worst of all, I booked a room with breakfast included and the restaurant was closed. I was attending a tournament in downtown Phoenix and had to allot extra time to go to a restaurant before I could begin my day. Better to stay at Motel 6! Peter Wearing, Director of Operations, stated they were in financial trouble and couldn't afford to open the restaurant. No adjustments were made to the rate. I booked months ahead.

this place was a joke
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/23/09
the first room they put us in smelled and the walls were dirty and stained. the carpet was disgusting and the bed spread had burn marks on it. when we asked to be put in an upgraded room they put us in a newly remodeled room which was already falling apart, the furniture was broken and the sliding door they put to the bathroom didn't close, also the internet was to small to accommodate so many users and kept crashing.

Great location
By M, 10/31/08
-Location was great. Centrally located to zoo, water park, state fair, malls, and Peoria complex. - Need to invest in new beds. My back was sore after two days. It was more comfortable sleeping on the floor with blankets, "not by much." Cant enjoy vacation when your back is out of whack. - complimentary breakfast was good, could use some fresh fruits, whole wheat bread or yogurts for people with diabetes. - couldn't use weight room till 8a.m. It was on the third floor over a guest's room. Need to change location of fitness room to first floor or away from guests.

The room was clean so they must hired and keep a good cleaning staff. The breakfast was good compares to I-Hop or Village Inn not to bad, Hud. Over all a good stay.

be sure to ask for a room like the one they show in their photos
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/26/08
The breakfast was great. The room that we had was nothing like the one they show on their web sight. The room that we had was old the wall paper was pealing. The bath tub would not drain. Also the maid was knocking at the door at 8:00 am. (to clean the room.) The rate that they advertised in the TRAVEL COUPON GUIDE was all sold out. So we had to pay a higher rate

This Place Is Great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/20/06
I went there over the summer to visit family. And everyone was so nice. So when I go this summer I hope that they'll have a room for me and my family. It is even safe for a 4 year old

We're anxious for our next visit to Phoenix!
By Dora, 12/30/05
We originally found this hotel on the internet, but opted for another; what a mistake we made! The main reason we chose another hotel over this one was due to their downtown location, but after 2 days, we wised up and changed to the Ramada Inn Phoenix North. Boy, were we glad we did! The location is great (as long as you have a car, which we did) and also located very close to the MetroCenter shopping mall. It's easily accessible to the Black Canyon Freeway, which gets you in to Phoenix quickly. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were always helpful for any assistance you needed. The best part was the complimentary hot buffet breakfast! Due to the excellent service we received, it made the short vacation my wife and I had in Phoenix that much more enjoyable. This hotel is one we would highly recommend to all visiting the Phoenix Metro-area. We can't wait to go back again!
