Comfort Hotel Square, Tucson

We had room reserved days ahead. We were to have a smoking room. No ashtrays were provided. We called front desk to make sure we were in smoking room she said yes. Ske did not offer to bring ashtrays. Then we noticed there was no remote for tv. Called front desk again. Clerk did not offer to move us to another room or bring remote or ashtrays. The room was not at all like expected. Very ratty and old. One could hear the Prostitutes walking in parking lot with their high heels through out the nite. We had stayed in Quality Inn in Sierra Vista 2 nites and the rooms were very nice and expected the same.I would go back to Sierra Vista anytime but will never stay at Tucson[Grant St] again

Having stayed at a very nice Rodeway Inn in Scottsdale, we should have never assumed this would be an equal experience. This location is on Grant and I-10. When we arrived, the door to our room was wide open and the whole place was very seedy. The room was filthy, there was mold around the tub and the water had been turned off. The reason our door was open is because the maintenance people were going in and out of all the rooms to repair the plumbing. The doors and windows all face the outside, which would make it very convenient for someone to break in. We immediately checked out and ran next door to the Hampton Inn. To top it off, I requested Rodeway Inn remove the hold on our credit card and was told they didn't know how to do that.
