NIGHTMARES!!!
By !3naJ, 4/14/11
Cons::: Hotel room - Unhappy as soon as we walked into the room... toilet was overflowed, I called front desk:: they offered me a plunger??::: wtf :: serious!! Then offered to changed rooms... better?? NOT!!!.....Next room was just as filthy, window sills were dusty, a tiny black bugs around the room incl under the sheets. Low water pressure, dirty/old/ stained carpets. We had a suite... just literally a wall built between two beds sharing same bathroom that had two doors and no closets. Nasty coffee pot w old used filters inside, cealings had cracks & some holes to be filled. I barely slept at all, fridge was loud, water drip sounds, annoyed me the entire night, you could hear people walking upstairs (loud) the walls seem as if they could crumble in and the train came rumbling by at least every half hour to drown out the horror. The sofa & beds felt irately uncomfortable & looked dingy. Pros::: Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast was better than most places, waffle maker, eggs, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, juice, tea coffee) Location was good, near attractions. Don’t put your family and loved ones through this, pay for a better hotel.

Best bang for your buck!
By lostlover, 7/12/10
This hotel was everything we could want and more! Out of the 6 hotels we stayed in from Vegas to the Grand Canyon and back to So Cal this was the best hotel. Staff was very freindly, service was great. The have a free happy hour(2 drinks free!!!) and a real breakfast in the morning, no Continental, real scrambled eggs, home fries, and bisquits and gravy. Pool was nice, even had music, not too loud. Grounds were nicely manicured with flowers and pine trees. Close to the downtown walking district, grocery store just down the street. Every Suite was named and made you feel special. Big screen TV with lots of channels including HBO. On our next trip to the grand canyon we will definitely stay here rather than wasting our money in Williams, AZ.

BED BUGS!!!! Raise your awareness!
By Lisa Shore, 6/15/10
At first I thought the hotel was ok for the price - liked the breakfast bar and the option of going to happy hour, as that is not a typical hotel amenity! Unfortunately my room, #141, the Hopi Suite, had bed bugs!! I got 35 bites to which I had a TERRIBLE allergic reaction and required medical treatment, as not only were the bites painful but an infection was going into my bloodstream! The hotel closed off the room and brought in pest control experts; the findings were that there is an INFESTATION OF BED BUGS BEHIND THE HEADBOARD!! Then to make things worse, the bugs must have gotten on my clothes and/or in my suitcase as I got MORE BITES after checking out of Aspen Hotel InnSuites! I filed a claim with the hotel's insurance company, Traveler's Insurance, for reimbursement of medical and lodging costs, with which I included many photos of the bites. Three months after the fact, the claim has been denied. Note that there is a website available to review / post bed bug locations: bedbugregistry.com and check out the reviews of this hotel on Trip Advisor. This was a HARD TRAVEL LESSON LEARNED, so I am posting this to help you raise your own level of awareness. When traveling and take time to check out the room / bed before bringing your things in!

just plain nasty
By Megan, 2/8/09
this place is in absolutley horrible condition. i had to stay here because my softball team had a game . the whole softball team stayed here, and one of my teammates got a room that had bloodstained sheets, and the bed was broken. i hated staying here. my room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, and Icould hardly sleep at all because the bed made me so itchy. there must've been bed bugs or something.the watercups in the room were filthy, & the tub had a ring around it.

Never to return
By Maddie, 7/30/07
Faucet in tub had hot and cold water reversed. Room was not worth $95 rate. Not a suite at all. Furniture old, carpet needed cleaning, doors need repair. No screen on bathroom window. Couldn't sleep, upstairs unit had someone walking all night, didn't stop until 4:30 or so. Very disappointed and will not return.

Will never stay again!
By liz, 6/29/07
They gave our room to someone else, gave me a smaller room, everything about the room was filthy. Bathroom was never cleaned, food on the sheets, food on the pullout sofa. Just overall very dirty. NEVER WILL STAY AGAIN!!!!!!

Very Nice.
This hotel has been my family's choice of hotel in Flagstaff for 6 times ever since 2005. The breakfast is great, but the railroad tracks nearby can become quite a pain. The value is very good too, I mean you don't get this much for their price! But, I'll be sure to come back whenever I get the chance.

All was ok, breakfast was great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/5/05
All was ok here, nice room, seem a little small but ok. Pool was just your average hotel pool. The best thing about this place was the breakfast, I wish more hotels would have a breakfast buffet instead of the standard toast, donuts and coffee. Would consider staying here again.
