Priceline customer offered SMOKING ROOMS ONLY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/09
A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT...( A TOTAL LOSS)....since we were Priceline customers, the only rooms offered and available to us were THEIR SMOKING ROOMS and they sure SMELT LIKE SMOKING ROOMS, TOO. We were told that since we were Priceline customer that we were only Guaranteed a room for two people and that there was NO other guarantees. Because we pricelined it, they made us feel like we had no options or rights. I had prepaid in full for two rooms, because I was traveling with my five month old baby, I needed one of the rooms to be non-smoking. I was told that none were available, even at an extra cost. These rooms were REALLY THAT SMOKEY SMELLING, that it was unbearable for a non-smoker, it was just too hard to stay in the room. The only thing that was offered was a bottle of spray to de-oderize the room, this did not help much. We decided that we could not stay in these rooms with our baby, so we decided to go to another hotel for the night. We turned our keys back in and asked the staff to let their management know that we were not happy, but we never heard back from anyone, this must be normal practice here and they just do not seem to care. That night, they were busier than expected, and they probably were able to resell these rooms to a smoker. As a priceline customer for hotels this has been my worst experience yet. (NO STARS) The site requires at least one star.....but to us they get NO STARS for their NO EFFORT.

we will stay here again
By Karen, 06/14/09
The staff is excellent. The friendliest, most attentive, and courteous that we have experienced. The rooms were kept very clean. The location is great. Breakfasts are continental, but just enough to get a person going for the morning. I love the coffee maker, hair dryer and iron in the room. Lots of restaurants and attractions close by. NAU is just around the corner. Thank you Econo Lodge!

Satisfied experience.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/07
We had a pleasant experience. We were in Flagstaff for two days. When we first checked we were on the second floor and asked to be moved for the next night. They gladly accomodated us. The hotel was centrally located near Sedona, the Grand Canyon and downtown Flagstaff. We were concerned about the train noise but because of the air conditioner noise, that was not an issue.

Clean & good price
By ADawn, 06/13/07
Location was right on the main road through town and there were lots of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Pool is small and was just being refilled after a cleaning so we weren't able to swim. Good clean and quiet place to sleep for a good price.

Great Rate!!
By Kerry, 08/16/05
I paid $58.00 for my family of 4 to stay at this motel, and it was great. My only complaint is that the bathroom ceiling is lower than the bedroom ceiling and the knob for the sink did not give us hot water. But the room was clean and the queen beds were spacious. Great value and would stay there again, they also have a pool and a very limited continental breakfast.
