2 reviews for Halsingland Hotel, Haines
old place with a veiw
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/06
I came here cause I think the only place that calls itself a "HOTEL" in town and I used to think hotels were automatically better than motels. It was ok nice and the food was good at the restaraunt there. From the front of the place you can look down to water and watch the boats go by. It kind of had a home like feel to it cause its in these big old houses, but it is not like a B&B.

Good Rennovations
By Glenda, 05/19/04
I have eaten there many times and they have great service in the dining room. You can get gourmet food for fast food prices. I have also toured the rooms. The rooms are very clean, new furniture, bedding, linens etc. For an old hotel it is very decently priced accomodations.
