Holiday Inn Troy, Troy

I visited here while my father was sick about a month ago and stayed for a week. The main concern for me was the general manager. I had occasion to be in the lobby one morning where there is no tv. The general manager was talking loudly to the kitchen help and I overheard him say that he did not want the locals coming in and eating the buffet line because they eat too much with their bad breath and body odor. That was very offensive to me as I was born and raised here and consider myself a local even though I no longer live here. He also said for her not to leave the *expletive* plates at the breakfast bar for the people to come in and get their bellies full. It was apalling to me. I have been to the Holiday Inn on several occasions in the past and everyone was so friendly and cheerful. The rooms were clean and the maids exceptionally friendly, but as for the general manager as long as he is there I will never return. He needs to learn respect and also realize not to talk about the people who pay his check for him. Without the "locals" I'm sure there would be no resteraunt.
