Point Way, Edgartown

We stayed there back in 2004 when it was still an Bed and Breakfast inn. It was in a perfect location right on Main Street in Edgartown. I'm very disappointed that the Pointway no longer offers rooms to the paying public. While its nice to support the arts, there are just too few B & Bs on the Island that had the kind of surroundings that the Pointway offered - relaxation and not overly 'Victorian' in nature like every other B & B in Edgartown.

I just read the previous review and wonder if this person actually stayed at the Point Way. They don't even serve food anymore and the rooms are free to organizations...The Point Way is no longer an Inn!!! Does your website check these people? I am a performing artist (dancer) from New York. I had the pleasure of staying at the Point Way (I am there now) and find it to be the best place I've ever stayed and I believe I have had a wide range of experience over the years of hotels on this Island. The Administrator is more than friendly and helpful - the house is gorgeous (updated last year in fact) and if they did serve food I am sure it would follow the rest of the amenities - which are all lovely. Shame on the liar who posted the false message - must have nothing better to do...but to lie is really a shame because this place does so much for artist's and the Island community.
